As Nehemiah rebuilt the wall of Jerusalem, his enemies kept trying to get him to leave the work. It wasn't because they wanted to help him. They wanted to stop what God was doing through him and even planned to harm him. Nehemiah saw through it and replied: "I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down." There will always be distractions, opinions, and things competing for your attention. Not every invitation deserves your time.
