Start Here: Welcome to Synergy4life Credit Academy 🔑
If you’re in this Academy, you’re not here to just “learn about credit” – you’re here to fix it, monetize it, and use it to touch real assets. This hub is where I keep everything organized for you so you’re not chasing screenshots and random notes. HERE’S HOW TO START: 1️⃣ Comment below with: – Where you’re at right now (credit, business, or real estate) – Your #1 goal for the next 90 days 2️⃣ Click into the “Week 1–6 Mentorship” category and find the Week you’re on (or Week 1 if you’re starting fresh). 3️⃣ Check the “Templates & Resource Packs” section and download anything I’ve already dropped there. We’ll keep building this out together. Use this community to: – Ask smart questions – Share wins (deletions, new clients, pre-approvals, deals) – Stay accountable week by week Drop “I’m locked in and ready 🔒” in the comments so I know you saw this and you’re serious.

Hello James, I'm transitioning back into the group, and I’m locked in and ready 🔒! My career was in corporate accounting and now I'd like to empower consumers to reach their financial dreams and goals. I had a handful of clients a few years ago, and I just re-launched my credit repair business this year. I'm focusing on marketing while sharpening my credit repair and financial coaching skills. When I first became interested in credit repair about 5 years ago, I didn't realize that our city had launched a free credit repair program through HUD. So people that I thought would become clients were getting theirs done for free. Now I'm focused on reaching clients in nearby cities and throughout the rest of our state with social media marketing.

@James Terry Thanks, the feedback is greatly appreciated. I'm learning what to focus on in the credit report so that I can address disputes in a timely manner. I'm in Devin Shaw's Skool group building content with the automations in the Marketing Hub to keep active clients engaged and also posting on social media. I sat in on a Zoom session with Millie Marie a couple of months ago, which was very helpful in terms of presenting a professional profile on my business page and presenting "my story", my experience and the services that I have to offer in my social media posts. I'm in Triston' Isaac's group to benefit from his expertise with running FB ads. And now I'm also in this group to bring everything together. So I'm making progress. Have a great week!

@James Terry Good info as always. I looked at the CFPB website a while ago. So this time around it'll be "the real deal".
@James Terry Hello, I submitted my first CFPB complaint last week. 🤗🙌👍 Sorry I didn't see this post until now. As a career Corp Acct, I can guarantee you "we don't do emotional", LOL! 😁 This is the client that we discussed in the CRC FB group. She had a closed account with a different late payment history across the three bureaus. Two bureaus were reporting one late payment and the third bureau was reporting two. Also, the current status for the third bureau was Late 30 Days on an account that has been closed since 2020. When I requested verification by the credit bureau, they changed the late payments from two to one, but didn't update the current status. The current status has most likely been incorrect since 2020 (6 years) so I simply requested removal of the account now instead of waiting another year for it to fall off of the credit report. The other two bureaus that were only reporting one late payment have already deleted the account. So hopefully the CFPB complaint will result in a deletion from the last bureau also.

What was the first negative item you disputed, what letter did you send ? That question

I'm not sure what I disputed first. However, the first negative item that was removed was a collection account. Even though I use the CRC Letter Library, I usually edit the wording since some of those letters are "too emotional" for my taste, LOL!
🚨 Skool Update: We Doubled in Size in One Week
First off, I just want to say thank you. To everybody who joined, commented, tapped in, asked questions, invited somebody, or even just took time to look through the Classroom — I appreciate you for real. This Academy doubled in size in one week, and that tells me something: People are hungry for real structure. Not hype. Not random screenshots. Not surface-level credit talk. Real education. Real direction. Real systems. Real conversations. And we’re just getting started. Here’s some of what’s coming next: 🔥 5 Post Challenge For those of you building a brand, business, or credit repair company — we’re going to work on getting you visible, confident, and consistent. 🔥 More Courses Added Credit repair, financial survival, business setup, mortgage readiness, client communication, content, strategy, and more. 🔥 Q&A From Me I’ll start answering more questions directly inside the community so everybody can learn from the conversation. 🔥 Mini Video Series Short, simple breakdowns to help you understand credit, business, disputes, money habits, client workflow, and how to actually apply the information. 🔥 Consumer Attorney / Advocate Support We’re going to start bringing more awareness around consumer rights, escalation, documentation, and when certain situations may need a stronger advocate involved. 🔥 Backend Service Opportunities For those building credit repair businesses, you’ll get the first chance to take advantage of backend support as we continue building out systems for audits, workflow, client communication, and dispute organization. And more… But let me make something clear: This is not one of those basic group chats where the owner only pops up to sell something. Yes, I have a credit repair business. Yes, I offer mentorship. Yes, I have paid services. But I’m not here to force anything on you. My value, experience, knowledge, consistency, and background will speak for itself. And honestly, that’s one of the biggest lessons I want people to learn here:

As I mentioned in the CRC Facebook group, I appreciate both your knowledge and your professional approach. 🤗🙌👍
Stop Asking “What Can I Delete?”
One of the biggest mistakes I see credit repair operators make is treating every file the same. A client says they want credit repair. Cool. But what are they actually trying to accomplish? 🏡 Buy a home? 🚗 Get approved for a vehicle? 💳 Qualify for higher-limit credit cards? 💰 Access business funding? Those are completely different conversations. A file with 680 scores and high utilization may need a totally different strategy than a file with 580 scores and recent late payments. The operators who grow the fastest stop thinking like dispute processors and start thinking like problem solvers. Instead of asking: “What can we remove?” Ask: “What is preventing this client from reaching their goal?” That’s when your consultations get stronger. That’s when your close rate improves. That’s when clients start seeing you as an expert instead of someone sending letters. 👇 Operators: Comment your niche (Homebuyers, Auto, Business Funding, General Credit Repair, etc.) and I’ll give you one thing I’d focus on during the consultation before ever talking disputes. And if you’re building or scaling a credit repair business, check out the Skool community. We’ve got courses on consultations, client strategy, compliance, disputes, business systems, and scaling your operation. 🚀
