Caveman/Boneless
Tonight I said, before working out I'll warm up a bit on the skate doing something. It ended up that I did more than half a session on the board and I finished it soaking wet in sweat. So for the rest of the workout I just did a few functional kettlebell exercises. Basically, I started messing around there, then I tried the static Caveman and it's always come pretty naturally to me, except for a few times when I messed up the timing of landing on the board, but I always made it on top and never fell. So I said, let me try the Boneless too. But once I figured out the mechanics a bit, I didn't mess with it any further. Then I tried doing a moving ollie trying to jump over a floor tile line, but no luck, I looked super heavy and at most I just lifted the front part. Then static it was pretty good, but moving it was nothing. 😒 But I tried jumping onto the board and riding off, both static and moving, and even running-start launched, and those were working...

Hey Teo, I used to skate about 30 years ago. Back where I lived, there was nothing around and no one to teach you anything. Now they've built a skatepark near my place (man, if only we had that back then...) and I really got the itch to skate again. I'm already pretty comfortable on the board, but mostly I just like cruising around the streets and maybe doing a few basic tricks. Right now, I'm working on my Ollie, which I never really mastered back in the day
