Birth authority starts with identity
What would change about your pregnancy or birth if you truly believed you were the primary authority? Not the system, not the provider, not the protocol. You.

What are messages you got about birth that you're now questioning?
So much of what we “know” about birth wasn’t chosen consciously. It was absorbed through stories, movies, medical narratives family comments, you get the idea. Maybe it was: - “Birth is dangerous.” - “Doctors know best.” - “Your body can’t be trusted.” - “Pain is inevitable.” - “Good mothers comply.” And maybe you didn’t question any of it until recently. What messages about birth did you absorb growing up that you never really questioned until now?

@Letícia Nogaró Thank you for sharing this. That’s a lot of birth story to carry in one lineage. When you look at it all together, your great grandmother, your grandmother, your mother, it makes so much sense that fear would live in your body. Of course it would. These aren’t abstract stories. they’re your family. ❤️ I also want to share that these stories don’t automatically predict your outcome. We can honor what they went through without assuming it’s your fate. ❤️❤️❤️
Was my birth actually traumatic? PDF
Many women arrive here with a question they may have never said out loud: “Nothing went wrong. So why do I still feel off about my birth?” If that question has ever crossed your mind, this PDF is for you. “Was My Birth Actually Traumatic?” is a guide to understanding birth trauma beyond emergencies, outcomes, or medical checklists. This will help you give language to what your body already knows. Inside, we explore: -Why trauma isn’t defined by what went “wrong” -How loss of agency and unresolved fear imprint on the nervous system -Common myths that keep women doubting their own experience -Reflection prompts to help you make sense of your birth without reliving it Take your time with it. 🤍Download the PDF above and begin where you are. Please feel free to share insights in the comments!
