Find a auto parts store. Being a retired veteran and spending a few times at the VA I would expect this not to be a good location mainly because of access unless you can get near the walkin door area.
Sales Tax
if you charge a flat rate (tax included) lets say a dog for $6.00. What was the multiplier so you arent paying tax on your tax.

This guy is good.
Has anyone watched Conner from The Homedog LLC? He and his wife run a hotdog business out of a little trailer and they kill it every single day that they work. Check them out, The Homedog

There are 1000’s of stories in vu of the same thing. This business is only as hard as you make it.
The excitement cluttered my thinking!
As with all of us, we're so excited to venture out and start our own small business. We read all of the tips and tricks, To do's and Not to do's, and the steps to take to make it happen. So here I am, I am the ding bat who was super antsy pantsy to get started...registered the business name, did the tax thing with the state, made up the logo and got business cards made (super cute) scheduled my manager certification exam and the applied for financing. I should have known better. My application was denied. SO, now I have to wait til tax time to purchase a hot dog cart. Then I started thinking, hey, I can sell lemonade and/or dirty sodas in the mean time BUT, now my business name logo and marketing materials do not reflect these beverages alone. (Palm smacking the forehead right now). Sooooooo, here's where I am reaching out to you all to ask you what would you do? Would you only change the business name and take a loss on the marketing materials and money to make the change or would you create another business, but eventually will be selling the hot dogs and beverages together. I appreciate all suggestions šŸ™‚ I have high sights for the future so I will make this happen! This dream will come about! šŸ¤—

We have said it for years not to pigeon hole your business but some of the new people may missed that. Thing like having catering in the name, names without political or religious implications etc… but in saying all of that yes I named my business ā€œDuggs Doggsā€ because that was my business plan from day one till today. Another funding a business like this can be done with as little as a cooler, a table. Many have started with little or no money. Don’t make this hard. https://streetfoodpro.com/003-street-food-vendor-tv-9-ways-to-start-with-no-money/
Adding a hot dog cart to our business
My wife and I started a lemon shake up business four years ago, All Shook Up - Lemon Shake Ups, and I just purchased a hot dog cart a few months ago. It's time to learn the hot dog business now.
