@Susan Goodman Hi Susan and hi everybody! My name is Michael, and it’s a pleasure plus a privilege to know you all here in this wonderful Skool community! I am a BIPOC Poet, Writer, Positive Psychology Coach, Debut Poetry Book Author, & Podcast Host. I am originally from Ethiopia, yet I was born here in Washington, DC, and grew up right here in DC, Arlington, and Alexandria, VA. My aunt brought me to Manassas, VA in the Summer of 2024. What sets my soul on fire are three things: a) The art of writing poetry is based on inspiration, self-help/personal growth, and spirituality, b) Positive Psychology is all about the science of helping people thrive via human flourishing, and c) I love music, singing, dancing, and concerts with a passion. Many years ago, I continued to feel and believe that music is a universal language for humanity, and there are plenty of musicians, music artists, and bands that promote the art therein, so please do your thing and enjoy them readily. I know that I do so using the free YouTube and iHeartRadio apps over the past number of recent years, as an example. The one word that describes the energy I feel into this space would be: “Infinite”. I find a number of things in life to be infinitely interesting, such as music, poetry, and love for example. I admit that my divorce as of 2016 was tough at first, yet I focused on healing, reflecting, and growing afterwards, so now that I have been single for 10 years now, I am finally looking for love, and my hope and aim is to find it in a wonderful way henceforth. As for the epic most important question between cats or dogs, I definitely choose dogs with a passion! I don’t have a dog, yet I remember the day I met a nice puppy dog back as a child living with my family in Washington, DC, as an elderly neighbor had two puppies with him: Pumpkin and BoyGeorge. I drew an immediate liking to BoyGeorge, as the elderly neighbor allowed me to pet his dog, play with him, and have fun for a number of years while I was going to elementary school. I used to hang out with BoyGeorge outside of school and doing my homework every so often. Great times!
