Leadership Question of the Day
"He who has a why to live can bear almost any how." ~ Friedrich Nietzsche Every leader talks about goals. Very few spend enough time defining their why. When the economy changes, competitors show up, good employees leave, or life gets difficult, your goals will be tested. Your why is what keeps you moving when your motivation disappears. The strongest leaders are not driven by excitement. They are driven by purpose. Here's today's question. When things become difficult, what is the reason that keeps you moving forward when quitting would be easier?

What keeps me going is a commitment to myself to be the best that I can be. Honoring my word to myself is paramount and non negotiable. Discipline and dedication to my personal excellence helps me to face the challenges of the day. If I believe in myself I can be more valuable to others.
Show them the ropes
What is leadership if you can not bring someone further and show them the ropes along the way.

@Bethany StoneAgreed! The best leaders seek to bring out the best in others and challenge them to stretch their abilities. Builds character and resilience.
Leadership Question of the Day
"The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge." Daniel J. Boorstin One of the fastest ways to lose a team is to believe your title means you already have the answers. The best leaders ask questions they already think they know the answer to, because they understand something most people miss. People do not reveal what they know until they believe someone is willing to listen. Confidence is valuable. Certainty can be dangerous. So here's today's question. When was the last time someone on your team changed your mind about something important? Or has it been longer than you'd like to admit?

Great leaders surround themselves with people that have knowledge, skills and ability that the leader may lack or need reinforcement on. Those individuals will feel empowered and more valuable to produce great outcomes. The best leaders seek to bring out the best in others
