Day 16 Done 💪
Another very good day of learning about what happens right after my pivoting to gain at least 100 new subscribers. ● Learning about other similar creators where the audience is overlap with mine ● how to leave thoughtful comment on other creators videos ● learn how to engage on my own videos by pinning a comment, types of replies, questions to ask and follow-ups ● brainstorming on shorts, getting the hooks for each short ● ideas on who and how to collab with other creators ● listing three to five small creators I could collaborate with, very interesting ● learned how to offer them value ● how to write my micro-collab pitch, either in Skool Community or Adjacent Creator's Videos by commenting on their video ● what video or short to collaborate on first So many great ideas for videos and shorts and interact and collaborate with other creators my size or even a bit larger or smaller. If anyone else is documenting a similar Journey, starting over, pivoting I'd love to connect. Onward To Day 17. Thank you in advance Cheering Squad! @Lillie Handy Dominguez Yes, on a good note, my last few shorts have seemed to have done a little bit better than usual but overall my shorts still don't do nearly as well as my longs. I have been starting to think about maybe trying to film some shorts specifically as shorts instead of just clipping them from the longs. It is going to have to be another experiment I'm going to add to my list.

@Lillie Handy Dominguez No, you don't have to add the link in the description of the short. You can, when you are uploading it, click to add a related video and then choose the video that you want. Then there will be a link to it. It will appear in the lower portion of the short video and when someone clicks it, it will take them directly to that long form video. What I do is at the very end of all of my shorts videos I have text pop up on screen saying "Full video" and then an arrow pops up on screen pointing to where the link is to click to go to the long form.

Day 18 Done 💪 Playlists: The Secret Weapon Watch Time
Another day in the books. UPDATE: JUST UPLOADED MY WORKBOOK. I had forgotten. I did this after walking and hitting the dry sauna at the gym, shower in cool water to feel energized and it felt so good doing this. I'll kick things off with four playlists and add more as I create more content or series. * **Starting Over at Any Age - Where Do I Begin?** * **Reinventing Yourself After 50, 60, and Beyond** * **Daily Motivation for Starting Over** * **Building a New Life, One Step at a Time** Attached is the full detail of todays work, here is the worksheet outline ● Crafted Playlist 1 & Playlist 2 video content. ● Transformation or Journey that each Playlist will lead viewers. ● My Thumbnail look to be cohesive across all playlist. ● Optimized for Search & Discoery ● Playlist Description ● Where Playlist will appear on homepage. ● A Short Script for the Playlist Intro Video if I do one. ● Which videos will mention the playlist as the "next step" ● The link or CTA that I will include in the pinned comments and end screens ● The problems that the playlist solves for the viewers Thank you in advance to my Cheering Squad and the Community Tribe for your support and encouragement and following me up through today. Onward to Day 19. Cheering Squad Tags: @Dr. Saundra Stancil @Michael LeJeune @Ricardo Solomons @Jenny Sharratt @Jaye Brunner @Debbie Pearson @Sb Hendricks @Tina Lynn

@Lillie Handy Dominguez Yes. That is really the way to do it, and then just be in the moment and roll with what it is that is most exciting at that time. That is definitely the way to do a trip.

@Lillie Handy Dominguez Yes, that is so true.
My Insights & Recommendations for this Challenge (LONG)
Grab your favorite cup of tea and enjoy my recap! (Mine is peppermint tea☕🍃) 𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪𝗟𝗘𝗗𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗬𝗼𝘂: • To those others who liked my posts, THANK YOU! • To those who commented on my posts, THANK YOU! • To those who cheered me on, checked in on me, and pushed me, THANK YOU! • To the one who created this challenge, Alexa S, THANK YOU! • To you who never commented but allowed me to tag you anyway, THANK YOU! Because just appearing in your notifications was enough that you saw I was working this challenge and thought about you. I appreciate that you allowed me to share my journey with you. 𝗠𝘆 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲: It aligns with this quote: "And the first shall be last" (~Jesus Christ). I started out first in this calendar year. Then I encouraged others to join me--and all of you did! Then the adversary threw all types of curveballs trying to throw me off track! It didn't, but I paused when needed... (debilitating frozen-in-place weather, witnessed a car rollover accident, mild PSTD because of it, shocking deaths, ridiculously irate client, tax preparation--3 of them, and more...). Only a few of them you know about, but I KEPT GOING! And YOU Encouraged me along the way. You pushed me when I felt bad that I was "no longer the leader" of this unofficial nucleus group of Cheerleaders, Supporters, and Accountability Partners--THANK YOU, A HUGE THANK YOU!!! (Wish I could make that bold & bigger). Oh, and not to mention my duties here as a Creator Boost Tribe Admin and Live Call Co-host. I do those first before I do anything with the challenge, my YT channel(s), and now my Community. 𝗠𝘆 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗬 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗚𝗬: • I decided not to do the challenge day until all other important tasks are done (yours may be first thing in the morning or over the weekend). I was so excited about this challenge that it was all I wanted to do. • I read the workbook first, wrote my answers if I know them, re-watched the video with a fine-tooth comb, made draft comments on my post about that day, added my accountability partner tags, and responded to comments on my post. Sometimes I was so excited I would wake up overnight and work on my challenge days.

First off, I absolutely love peppermint tea! Hands down the best tea ever!!! 🤤😂 You really did a great job of persevering through so many different struggles and still accomplishing making it happen. That is awesome, Dr. Saundra! You really had structured out a great format for how to go about prioritizing and getting this challenge done. I love your calendar tip. 😂 I do that same thing in chat all the time when sending my messages by accident. Now at least I know I'm not the only one who struggles with that. 🤣 I am really truly so happy with you completing this challenge and taking so much away from it. 🥳🥳🥳

@Dr. Saundra Stancil I'm one of the ones that definitely gets more of an invigorating response to the peppermint tea. Yep, that shift-enter tip is golden. 😂
Day 21 - Creator Breakthrough Series (Momentum: Staying Consistent When Motivation Fades)
Okay, I'm already motivated, but this Day's challenge was defining. Alexa gives the reasons and the how-to's about assuring my motivation never ceases (and yours too!). I watched this video three times. I love how she explains that the problem is "decision fatigue". Oh how that has happened to me numerous of times, over and over again. (Yet, I am still here.) So I have my schedule already outlined in my Google Calendar, but I may have to revisit them; or reschedule them. My template is in my Trello board. I do love batching and will be doing this on a regular right after this challenge. My boundary is my commitment to MYSELF to stay consistent. I will need to add tracking my progress into the template too so I can monitor that too. I love how Alexa says "real motivation comes from noticing momentum". Illumination here!💡Reconnecting to my why is important. It's on my channel and I screenshotted it here to share. My key motivation is the comments I receive on my channel and in my new community. One of the questions asked is what will I do to stay consistent when motivation is not there. My Answer: Celebrate! Yeah, celebrate what I have done, be proud of it, and each potato chips! (Yes, I am a confessed potato chip addict!🍟) This Day #21 is Finished! Yay! Moving on to Day 22 and I will see you in that post.😁🔥😁 Side Info: -Current Niche: Teaching Gift Basket Biz Startups -Pivoted from: Recovery from Narcissistic Abuse Gratitude Statement: Y'all got me pumped! Everyday I read your words of encouragement and suggestions. I appreciate them and you!🙏🏾❤️ Appreciate You, My Accountability Tags: @Yvette Bowlin @Jenny Sharratt @Dajana K. . @Michael LeJeune @Cam F @Travel Gran @Jaye Brunner @Eddi Pinegar @Adam Tinkoff @Ricardo Solomons @Dawn Ponsford @Monika Astara Murphy @Andy Asher @Deb D @Laura Niebauer @Cat PInegar @Virgil Rucker @Lillie Handy Dominguez @Tina Lynn @Debbie Pearson @Sb Hendricks

@Dr. Saundra Stancil Alright that sounds great. I definitely have a pretty good notion set up for just handling and keeping track of what's going on with all of the YouTube stuff. It's kind of a blend of a calendar and a Trello board. I am not a master at it but I know enough to make it work for what I want to do, which is keep track of my videos so it's good for that. My Google Calendar and tasks, though, are kind of a mess for overall life management. 😂 I had done kind of the same thing you did with moving all of the Evernote, except instead of Evernote I had a bunch of notes in Microsoft One Note that I had been transferring over to Google Keep. I use Google Keep as my basic note-taking app. It is pretty much a hot mess, too 🤣.

@Dr. Saundra Stancil It totally does. I've been going through a major process just trying to consolidate the OneNote apps over to my Google Keep. I really liked the OneNote app and how it works. I just don't like the Microsoft ecosystem and I'm basically all the way in on Google, which is why I've switched over to Google Keep but Microsoft's OneNote is really a great app to me.
