Hey guys happy to find this group, Ive been in the commercial concrete space for 16 years, had my company since 2017. I'm looking to get started here with building a contractor garage, around 12k SF with smaller 1000 SF or so units, and occupy 2 of them with my company. Working with our local bank to get an owner occupied loan and hoping we can get outdoor storage included as owner occupied space. Looking to self-gc the build and working on getting distribution on things like the steel, and permeable parking lot. Looking to learn as much as I can

Hi All..!! New to the group and just wanted to say Hi.... Looking to get started in development and wanting to learn the process from A to Z...I've been in the Residential and Commercial Construction Industry for 38 plus years..I started out building houses and swinging the hammer and same thing in Commercial side...I helped with it all..I've been an Superintendent for the past 22 years and know all the trades, but I need to learn the business side and the process from conception to finished product of the project process...I've dealt with subs, architects, engineers, owners, and realtors also..I just never did get involved with acquisitions, estimates, or contracts....who wants to take me by the hand and help me out...??
