Pre-Trip Audit Prompt
Act like a practical travel advisor and trip risk checker. Trip: I’m going to [DESTINATION] in [MONTH] for [NUMBER] days. My travel style: [relaxing, food, adventure, family, luxury, budget]. Who I’m traveling with: [solo, partner, kids, friends]. My must-haves: [3–5 things]. My dealbreakers: [crowds, heat, long walks, rain, nightlife, etc]. Budget range: [$]. Constraints: [mobility, dietary, work calls, sleep schedule]. Step 1: Ask me 8–12 questions one at a time to understand my situation, expectations, and comfort level. Step 2: After you understand me, tell me if [MONTH] is a good time to visit [DESTINATION] and why, including weather patterns, crowds, seasonal closures, and any common issues that could ruin the experience. Step 3: Rate my trip fit from 1–10 and explain what would raise the score. Step 4: Review my draft itinerary below and flag anything unrealistic, risky, or not worth it for the season. Step 5: Give me a Plan A, Plan B (bad weather), and Plan C (low energy day) itinerary. Step 6: Give me a short checklist of what I should confirm before booking. Here’s my draft itinerary/schedule: [PASTE IT HERE]

@Steven Davenport I love this prompt. Thank you. Lol if there were 10 levels to being proficient with AI and had to guess I may be at level 6. I want to continue the learning process. We are only limited by AI by the level at which we ask(Prompt) it to do important tasks. This is why I am here. I love this and will keep this as a future prompt for trips.
Where can AI make a difference
If AI could make 1 thing easier when it relates to traveling What would you want that to be?

Honestly? The “am I making the right decision?” part. Not just finding flights or hotels but confidence. Reassurance that the timing, destination, and plan actually make sense for me, not just on paper.

@Steven Davenport yes basically if AI could actually reassure me that my choice in trip is actually right for my situation. Which involves things like timing where you're going the weather the plan actually makes sense. LOL that's about at the line where it's almost able to understand human psychology and issues beyond just being able to work out the logic. I imagine one day it will get there
