With Royal adding even more Icon ships… where do you stand?
With Royal Caribbean doubling down on Icon Class and more mega ships coming over the next few years, it feels like cruising is going even further in that direction. So quick one… Would you rather:

I've seen a lot of fluff questions in the past with other travel groups. This one was a very good question and very eye-opening. It's interesting to find that they would take a 7-day cruise with a newer ship versus 14 days only older show, at least as of right now how the polls seem to be playing out. Of course! I made it one more by my own vote lol
What matters MOST when booking a cruise?
Most people naturally lean towards one of these without even thinking about it… I’m really curious to see where everyone lands on this 👇

I love these polls as a travel agent, I realize the difference between what people think they use for criteria of deciding versus what actually influenced them. For instance, sometimes it's promotions and other things they see. We all have our perceptions. For instance, my knee jerk was the itinerary just like most of the people. But I often wonder what other factors subconsciously are affecting me. Those things that I don't really think about, but I react to. Human psychology is always fascinating to me.
5 Sea Days vs 6 Port Days, Which Would You Choose?
We board Odyssey of the Seas on Sunday. New York to Barcelona. 15 nights.🥳🛳️ Here is what the itinerary looks like: 5 consecutive sea days in the middle of the Atlantic… followed by 6 port days in a row at the end as we sail into Europe. Two completely different cruises stitched together into one sailing.😂 So here is my question for the community, which would you rather have? 5 sea days to recharge, read, eat too much, and do absolutely nothing? Or 6 port days back to back where you are off the ship exploring every single morning? Because most people have a very strong opinion on this. I want to know yours.👇

I can visit the food court only so many times. Bring me some ports that i can explore!
You Get ONE Upgrade. What Are You Choosing?
I am curious to know what you guys pick if you could ONLY choose one.😅👇 Or, is there something below you always get, and it is a non negotiable when it comes to your cruises? Let me know in the comments. 😊🛳️

How far in advance do you plan your port days?
The people who have the best port days aren’t the ones who spend the most money. They are the ones who spent time planning! Of course, some ports you can wing it. Step off the ship, walk into town and have a great day. But others will punish you for not planning. especially in the Med where the dock can be 90 minutes from the actual city. Need help planning your upcoming ports? Drop them below and I will tell you what I would prioritise with one day there. 👇

I can't leave it to chance. As soon as I start booking the cruise I'm looking at the excursions. I'm not one of those people who want to stay on the ship when we are at dock. I start looking at the top destinations at whatever Port we're at so I know the sites that I must see and then I start looking at excursions that match. But the funny thing is now that I have been cruising quite a bit lately I don't look so much for excursions I prefer to actually plan my own thing and then set up my own transportation ahead of time to go to the places on my own the only time I actually do it a formal excursion is if I need historical background from an actual guide or if it's required for entry.

@Katrina Edginton It comes out less expensive when I plan it myself. I control the itinerary and how deeply I am engulfed at the venue. Lol bonus when I run into a tour going on. sometimes I have been known to "Blend in".
