CSCS Quiz App - How to Log In
Hey everyone, I just sent an email to all CSCS Accelerator Course members with instructions for logging into the CSCS Accelerator quiz platform. If you've been having trouble getting in, I've fixed the login setup and it should work smoothly now. What to do: 1. Check your inbox for an email from [email protected] 2. If you don't see it, check your spam folder — transactional emails from new domains often land there 3. Follow the instructions in the email to log in with the temporary password Login URL: https://cscs-accel-quiz-platform.vercel.app If you run into any issues, here are some potential fixes: - Try "Forgot your password?" on the login page — this sends a reset link to your email and lets you set a new password - Make sure you use the email that the original email was sent to. Any other email will not work. - Sign out and sign back in if you're already in the app but something looks off - Try an incognito/private browser window — this clears any cached login state that might be causing issues - Try a different browser if none of the above work If you're still stuck after trying these, reply to this email, and I'll get you sorted. — Dr. Goodin

Had to look this one up… answer B is a true statement but is referring to the neuromuscular junction, not a motor unit.
CSCS Daily Practice Question #91
Why does the instantaneous force produced by a muscle depend on the number of crossbridges formed between actin and myosin? A. Crossbridges store elastic energy in sarcomeres that is released during contraction B. More crossbridges allow more simultaneous power strokes, each contributing to total force C. Crossbridges anchor myosin to actin, preventing filament separation Answer in the poll, then explain your rationale below in the comments! I'll follow up with my breakdown of the question after enough people have responded. From Chapter 1: Structure and Function of Body Systems DCO Code: 1.D1 NOTE: Image is for illustration purposes, not needed to answer the question.

A crossbridge forms when myosin heads attach to actin forming a power strokes. They don’t store elastic energy
