Hey guys , I’m in the studio now and I just realized they integrated splice (music production/sampling app) with pro tools. I still refuse to make beats in pro tools but I thought this was still interesting …. (FL studio for life !)
1. Mixing at a low volume 2. Always comparing it to the demo rough mix 3. Listening through other perspectives (mono, headphones, another pair of different size monitors) These have changed the game for me. What about you ?
@Donny Baker yes I’m starting to back off myself , it’s very easy to over process things today where a lot of the samples producers get are already so processed as well
I found that I’ve been using efx , and pro when recording , (low latency mode of course) but when I mix I put the UAD autotune on the leads and it sounds much better in my opinion
