How many plugins for a recording session should you use?
I only record people with 5 plugins on: Autotune (if necessary) One Eq One compressor One Reverb One Delay Its that simple!

Which Daw should you use?
I always remind people whether you use ableton, logic, fl studio, pro tools- It doesn't matter they are all "cars" that can all bring you to the same destination. HOWEVER, these are my preferences depending on if you are producer or engineer and what the DAW is better at. Pro Tools - Engineering Logic - Beat making and Engineering FL Studio - Beat Making Ableton - Beat Making and Engineering I use FL studio to make beats and then export to Pro Tools. Just the way i like doing things.
