Are those Hips Swaying?
I did a fit yesterday with a gentleman who is getting back into cycling. He has had a hip replacement and a partial knee replacement. We tested his flexibility. He has tight hamstrings. More flexible on surgical side than non surgical side. The non surgical side is showing moderate osteoarthritis. From the side he angles look good but from the front this looks like his saddle is too high. From the back there is no feeling of hip swaying or side to side movement. I will be spending a bit of time with this person and could use a few good brains to help get him back to riding.

@Jason Hurst Thanks Jason, good observations. He does have pretty tight hamstrings but otherwise reasonably flexibly. He teaches martial arts. both surgeries were on his left side and, sorry, that didn’t get into the photos. He is actually more flexible on his surgical side. The stem was part of his initial fit from a bike shop and it is almost surely too low but I wanted him to ride a bit before I worked too much on his hands/bars. He is comfortable for now. He has been a mountain biker and is getting back into cycling because of a new relationship with a partner. I don’t want to give him any exit ramps. Just easy comfort, slow and incremental changes
