Fortuna Questions
I hit my DLL again today using Fortuna and I was wondering what other peoples’ experiences have been using Fortuna for the first 2 weeks or so. I’m just trying to figure out if I should go in a different direction (like using Ares or others) or stay the course with Fortuna. I lowered my DLL to $500 yesterday after i was down $1000. I set all the settings to how they are recommended in the teachings. And now that my EA is down to almost $49,000, should I just keep the settings how they are? (Normal) or switch to the aggressive settings since I have less than 2 weeks left to pass the EA before it expires? Thanks for any help!

@Kyle Henris Copy that boss. I guess lowering risk size will be the way for me moving forward!
TradingView addon for Tradovate
Just had a question about the TradingView addon for tradevate. Just purchased a 50k Apex EA and I’ve activated the TradingView addon in the Tradovate app. However when I try and log my apex/tradovate credentials into TradingView it says I don’t have access to demo or live accounts. Do I just need to wait for 24 hours so TradingView will let me log in with my apex credentials? Thanks in advance for the help. Just got the AI trading copilot and aim to pass my first eval utilizing it!

@Mark Clarno Thank you so much! I’ll try it on my laptop next time I think my issue was trying to do it with my phone.

@Mark Clarno that’s what’s going on. It’s been awhile since I went for a 50k account with apex so couldn’t remember if takes a day or 2 to activate. Just gotta wait til tomorrow. Market isn’t open today anyways so works out!
Still Practicing
Haven’t posted on here much lately but I haven’t forgotten the principles of the Jedi trade. Less chances to enter trades but the entry areas are much more obvious. Here’s a couple nice Jedi wins on MNQ. Got my papertrading account above $4500 for the first time in a few months!

Bullish Loss
This trade pretty much sums up how my trading has been going the past few months. Had a great setup for a bullish trade on Crude Oil earlier this morning. Price on oil has been bullish for the past 4 days. My alert went off and price was touching one of my demand blocks so I entered a bullish trade and I ended up getting stopped out. I feel like eventually I’ll get a win. Just gotta keep trying. I swear not many things in life test my patience like trading does. Would love to hear some thoughts on this trade if any. Might have just been bad luck. I feel like I set the bullish trade up perfect. Even going with the market trend but still an L 🤦🏻‍♂️

@Stephen Gerald Onyia hey Stephen ya I pretty much trade 100% from my phone. Being a refrigeration engineer makes it tough to monitor trades as closely as I’d like. If I had a remote job I would definitely be using all Superman entries. I would have paid for the indicator when it first came out but you know the 9 to 5 always gets in the way. I know that’s not an excuse because many people work as much or more than me and they’re still very successful. Whether they use the Jedi model or they somehow work in the time to use the Superman and be successful.

@Stephen Gerald Onyia okay thanks Stephen always appreciate the help! I’ll just stick to the 1hr and see if I can turn my trading around. Just have to stick with the process and not get too discouraged.
Finally a “win”?
Executed a bearish trade on MGC earlier in the day around 6am and it took over 7 hours to reach near my profit target. I know that it’s not a good idea to leave a trade open when the market closes because Apex closes the trade automatically if I’m not mistaken. So my trade ended up being a winner ($300+) but barely more than my usual stop loss of around $250. I guess a win is a win. I know I can’t control how long trades take to hit TP or SL so have to stop worrying about that and just let my trade play out until the market closes.
Finally a “win”?
