I wasn't going to make this post, but game is game and even if it only helps one of you, it's a win in my eyes. This also applies to setters, by the way. Struggling closers treat every call like a performance. Consistent closers treat every call like a conversation. It's natural, a flow, all they're focused on is the connection, and the ability to align with and help the prospect. When you're performing, or at least trying to (and often failing), you're thinking about your script, your pitch, your commission. When you're conversing, you're thinking about their pain, their goals, their transformation. The funny part? The less you try to "close" them... the more they close themselves.
