I saw a post here in the community about how important it is to actually try chatting with people to practice the language. So I wanted to use this community so we can try practicing our skills Let's talk! Tell me your name and what you do, or anything really! 🙃

Today I ran into Gabriel at the gym. I said, “¡Hola hermano, ¿Como va?”. (How’s it going, brother.) He said, “Todo bien. Es bueno verte.” (It’s all good. Good to see you). I responded, “Igualmente.” (Same.) We fist pumped and went in different directions. A year ago I told him I was gonna speak to him in Spanish no matter how bad it sounds. I didn’t even know him prior to that. We talk at length sometimes and he doesn’t care that I’m not very good he’s just happy to be talking in his native tongue. I’m much better now than a year ago because I started removing the fear of speaking in Spanish. What fears do you have and have you confronted them confidently?
