Immersive Storytelling The sound of drums was music to my ears. Some ladies were dancing in traditional attires. There was the aroma of the pumpkin leaves from the thatched kitchen. All was bright at the Kumusha Resort in Goromonzi, Zimbabwe. At the heart of the compound there was a bigger hut that was designed with colorfilul murals on its brown walls. A lady sat in the eaves of that hut and waited for those who were ready for some Culture Connection. Playing the thumb piano and singing some some cultural music was the best authentic memorable experience ever. Kumusha means home in our Shona language. The village setting made me feel at home and it took me back to our history and heritage. There was something nostalgic about the excursion and it made the destination so accommodating.
