I asked myself, how disconnected I was from body?
My answer- 8! The scale between 1-10. 1 being quite present and functional. 5 is you only tend to notice your body when it's signalling pain. 10 is having your body owned by your job and not remembering the last time you felt safe. I was surprised by the answer as I wasn't carrying the stress like I did before of working in corporate. Starting new things, adjusting to new schedules has left me constantly on edge and not regulated. Even though I'm not regulated as I would like to be, I can still feel a since of joy and freedom. Why is important to regulate your nervous system? - Better cognitive function - meaning you can actually think clearly - Better health- digestion, movement and overall functionality improves - Better relationships- you make better decisions, you think before reacting. To help me, yes I am going to have a session myself of Spinal Energetics. Meditation for me right now is focusing on breathe and a Yoga Nidra track. I've just been out in the sun and allow th warmth to help me relax and know everything is ok. Comment below what your number is and what you can do today to regulate yourself?

I asked myself, how disconnected I was from body?
6mths ago, I was at my desk wondering why I had everything — and felt nothing...
A few years ago I had the title, the salary, and everything that was supposed to feel like success. And yet — something deep inside didn't feel right. My body was sending signals I kept ignoring. Mentally and physically, the corporate world was taking a toll. And one day I realised I had spent so long building a life that looked good from the outside, I had completely lost connection with myself on the inside. So I made the most honest decision of my life. I walked away. Not because it was easy — choosing yourself rarely is, especially when you have real commitments and responsibilities. But I was lucky enough to be in a position where I could make it work, and I knew if I didn't do it then, I never would. I traded certainty for meaning. And I started building something that actually felt like me. Healing is my foundation. Integrity has became my compass. And slowly, I am building a life I don't want to escape from. That's why this community exists. This is a space for people who are tired of running on empty — who know something needs to change but aren't sure where to start. Through Pilates, Yoga Nidra, Spinal Energetics, and nervous system healing, I'm here to help you come back to yourself. You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to show up. I'd love to know — what brought you here today? Drop it in the comments below.

Thanks @Charlie Melhem the conversation needs to be had and hope more people realise this. You are right we go on pretending until the real complaints happen and it becomes a point of serious action needed. Welcome to the group!
