I don’t have a van yet….but I would like to know if being warm enough in winter while asleep is an issue?

Getting my first van at the end of this month. I am on a tight budget and super worried I will end up buying something that isn't ok. Looking at a transit connect or T4 something like that. What's your advice for things to check when buying? This is all very new to me.
