Thoughts 🤔🧠
Take a moment and really look at this… What do you feel? What do you think this represents? Is it pain… healing… or the battle in between?

The addiction is at the forefront of our minds, but even in addiction in the back of our minds, we know there is freedom if we were to walk away. when we are under addiction people think that we’re having fun, but in reality we’re trapped in our own minds and we know it would be better to stop, but we keep the issues that caused the addiction in the forefront and that’s why the addiction lives there. It’s a strong hold kept in place by the enemy keeping us in cycles of shame and guilt

I’m rocking with the Steelers because of that black and yellow !👌🏽😎
Hello all
I’m new here. I have had some problems with addictions in the past with alcohol. I have been clean now for about four years. I’m also recovering from an abusive marriage and I decided to support others as I heal. I feel like nothing is in vain and there’s always purpose in your pain. God has been my rock and the cornerstone in my life. Never leaving me nor forsaking me. Mike is a good dude I grew up in the same neighborhood as him, and seen a lot of the same things he did. Like I always say: break the cycle. The time is now.
Hello Everyone
Hello all, new to the group and I’m so looking forward for growth and healing.

Feed Back Please: Why Do Warm Weather and Certain Areas Trigger My Past?
I want to be transparent and ask for some real feedback from this community. I’ve noticed that whenever I go back to certain areas from my past, and even when the weather starts getting warmer, I can go through some of the most intense negative feelings and reminders of old seasons in my life. It’s strange because it can hit out of nowhere. - Old thoughts try to come back. - Old voices.Old beliefs. - Old mindsets that I thought I buried. It’s like certain places and certain temperatures wake up memories, emotions, and parts of me that I worked hard to heal from. Sometimes it feels like my mind tries to pull me back into old agreements with pain, addiction, trauma, and the lies I used to believe about myself. I know healing is real, and I know growth is real, but I also know I can’t be the only one who experiences this. So I want to ask y’all honestly: Have certain places, neighborhoods, seasons, or weather changes ever triggered old emotions, cravings, memories, or negative beliefs for you? How do you fight back when those old thoughts start creeping in? What truths, routines, prayers, boundaries, or mindset shifts help you stay grounded when your environment starts waking up the past? I’m asking from a real place because I know somebody in here has probably fought this same battle. Drop your thoughts, experiences, and what helps you in the comments, because I truly believe somebody else may need this conversation too. Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is be honest about what still tries to pull on us. Let’s help each other heal through it. #TransparencyCorner #RiseAndHeal

This topic is pretty interesting because I’ve noticed that every spring. I’ve always had the most issues with my mental health. I had a couple of breakdowns consecutively for about three or four years in April and then I would crash in May. I did hear one time that psychiatric hospitals are more at capacity in the spring time. I would like to do some further research on this, but to answer the question yes the spring time has always been an issue for me. It’s more under control now it happens to me in a more mild manner. I have just never pinpointed what exactly happened to me around this time. Maybe it’s something from earlier in my childhood. I noticed that doctors always ask me that question.

Survivor turned healer. I’ve walked through trauma, unlearned survival mode, and I’m rebuilding with truth, boundaries, and self-respect every day.
