Welcome to Becoming
🌿 Welcome to Becoming I’m so glad you’re here. Becoming is more than a community, it’s a place to slow down, grow deeper, and become the person God is shaping you to be. In a world that constantly tells us to do more, Becoming is an invitation to be with God first. From that place, everything else begins to change. Whether you’re in a season of healing, growth, waiting, or discovering your purpose, you don’t have to walk it alone. Our Mission To encourage whole-person growth through faith, intentional living, wellness, and authentic community. We believe that God is interested in every part of your life, not just your spiritual life, but your mind, body, relationships, purpose, and daily habits. Small, faithful steps lead to lasting transformation. Start Here Take a few minutes to complete these simple steps: 1. Introduce Yourself Tell us: - Your first name - Where you’re from - One thing you’re believing God for in this season - One fun fact about yourself 2. Read the Community Guidelines We’re committed to making Becoming a safe, encouraging place where people feel seen, supported, and respected. 3. Explore the Classroom You’ll find devotionals, Bible studies, wellness resources, journaling prompts, and practical tools to help you continue growing. 4. Join the Conversation Don’t worry about having all the answers. Share your thoughts, ask questions, celebrate victories, and encourage others. Your voice matters here. What You Can Expect ✨ Daily encouragement 📖 Scripture and devotionals 🙏 Prayer and faith-filled conversations 💚 Whole-person wellness 🌱 Personal growth 🤝 Genuine community Our Values - Keep Christ at the center. - Encourage more than you criticize. - Share with honesty and kindness. - Respect each person’s journey. - Celebrate progress over perfection. - Extend grace freely. A Note From Me Thank you for choosing to be part of Becoming. My prayer is that this community helps you grow closer to God, find encouragement for today, and discover the quiet work He’s doing in your life.

@Nora Gianna Thank you so much! ❤️ That really is the heart behind Becoming creating a space where we can grow as whole people, one small step at a time. If I could encourage every new member to do one thing their first week, it would simply be to show up and join the conversation. Introduce yourself, share what season you’re in, or comment on something that resonates with you. You don’t have to have anything figured out to belong here. I believe connection starts when we’re willing to be present, and sometimes one small conversation is exactly where the next step in our becoming begins.

@Nora Gianna That’s something I’m continuing to build intentionally. I use simple weekly conversation prompts around faith, wellness, purpose, and everyday life so new members have an easy way to join in beyond their introduction. I also respond personally, ask follow-up questions, and encourage members to connect with one another not just with me.My goal is for Becoming to feel less like a group people scroll through and more like a community where their voice matters.
Hydration check in
Hydration Check-In We talk a lot about doing MORE for our health. More supplements. More workouts. More complicated routines. But sometimes our body is asking for something pretty basic: Water. 😂 Hydration is one of those simple habits that’s easy to overlook when life gets busy. So today’s Becoming challenge isn’t complicated. Before you start thinking about everything you should be doing for your health, start with something you can do today. Drink your water. Not perfectly. Not because you’re trying to win some imaginary wellness award. 😂 Just intentionally. And if plain water isn’t your favorite, find ways to make hydration something you’ll actually stick with. 💧 TODAY’S CHALLENGE: Pay attention to how much you’re drinking today and add one extra glass of water. Who is taking the challenge with me? 🙋‍♀️

Becoming One Step at a Time
Sometimes the reason we don’t move forward isn’t because we don’t want change. It’s because we’re trying to change EVERYTHING at once. 🙋‍♀️ We want to pray more. Drink more water. Eat better. Exercise. Get organized. Work on our relationships. Figure out our purpose. Get enough sleep. And somehow keep up with everything else life requires. 😂 No wonder we get overwhelmed. One thing I’m learning in this season of Becoming is that growth doesn’t always happen through huge changes. Sometimes it’s one small, faithful decision repeated over and over. Maybe today that looks like drinking another glass of water. Maybe it’s taking a 10-minute walk. Maybe it’s opening your Bible instead of scrolling for another 15 minutes. Maybe it’s making the phone call you’ve been avoiding. Or maybe it’s simply saying: “God, I don’t know what the next five steps are, but I’ll take the one You’re showing me today.” You don't have to become the person you're growing into overnight. Just keep becoming. ❤️ TODAY'S BECOMING QUESTION: If you could choose ONE small thing to focus on this week, what would it be? Drop yours below. 👇 And let's encourage each other this week.

We are unique
Where in your life are you doing something simply because it works for everyone else? That could move beyond wellness into calling, growth, expectations, and learning to pay attention to how God uniquely created and leads us.

Hope That Still Stands
Today's devotional, Hope That Still Stands, has me thinking about one question: What mountain have you quietly decided you're too old, too late, too tired, or too far behind to climb? Caleb was 85. Forty-five years had passed since God made the promise. Think about that. He had lived through wilderness. Delay. Disappointment. Battles. And waiting. Yet when the opportunity finally came, Caleb didn't say: “I wish this had happened when I was younger.” He said: “Give me this mountain.” So today we're going to do something different. Open your journal and write: THE MOUNTAIN I STILL WANT TO CLIMB: Then finish these: I've been telling myself it's too late because… What I've learned through the years that has actually prepared me is… If I truly believed God isn't finished with me, I would… And finally: My next step is… Don't worry about climbing the entire mountain today. Just identify it. Maybe there's a dream you've quietly put away that God isn't finished with yet. 👇 If you're comfortable, tell us: What's your mountain? There may still be mountains ahead. ❤️
