Struggling to land interviews would appreciate a CV review
Hi all, I'm Meldon recent Computer Security and Forensics BSc (Hons) grad from Greenwich (NCSC certified, CREST affiliated course), with about 2+ years of IT Support Analyst experience at KidZania London. I've applied to a good number of cybersecurity and IT help desk roles, SOC Analyst, Security Analyst, IT Service Desk and keep getting rejected, even for roles where I feel like a genuinely strong fit on paper. I'm not sure where the gap is whether it's the CV itself, how I'm positioning my experience, missing certs, or something else entirely. Would really value a second pair of eyes on my CV and any pointers on what might be holding me back. Happy to share the CV here or however works best. Thanks in advance!

@Marius Poskus Thank you so much for taking the time to give such detailed guidance, it really means a lot. As a recent graduate, exam costs add up fast, but SC 200 is definitely doable at £106, so I'll get that booked in. For now I'm applying to IT help desk roles to get a job as soon as possible, while also trying my luck with SOC roles, though I can see I'm still missing a few skillsets and certs there. I'll keep building up my SOC analysis skills on the side, make sure to tailor my CV with the right keywords for every application, and follow up with the recruiter afterwards, as you suggested. @Marius Poskus Quick follow up if you don't mind I just had another rejection come through, this time for a Cyber Security Analyst, Cloud role at Heathrow (job description and rejection attached, along with the CV I applied to). Looking back at it, I don't have anything cloud based on my CV at all, and I'm noticing more and more roles listing cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) as a requirement. Which hands on cloud projects would you recommend I work on that I could add to my CV and actually speak to in interviews?
