One person in the comments told me she tried even four times and then she passed! The good thing about this exam is that you can keep taking it as many times as you can. Also Marylin was invited to be one of the persons in ASCP to do this exam, so she will fix a lot of things for the exam for us in the future ๐Ÿ˜‰. Cheer up, we still have chances.
ASCP EXAM ROUND 2
My MLS exam is on the 21st of this month. Iโ€™ve been very blocked and i need to pass this time because itโ€™s my second time applying. Because I donโ€™t have much time left, iโ€™m thinking of using the LSU purple and gold book, and the Valerie Polanski Cards. Iโ€™ve tried using the quick compendium book but i see a lot of pages and info and get overwhelmed. I also have LabCe that when i study a section and do questions on LabCe on it, I score good. Any recommendations or tips are welcomedโ€ฆ๐Ÿ˜ญ

How was your exam today ?
First time attempt Failed
Hi guys, I'm sharing my experience with my recent exam, which focused on blood banking and microbiology. The questions weren't necessarily difficult, but I struggled with understanding the English language, as it's not my first language. The answers were often very similar, which threw me off. When I was studying for 3 months, I found the process really challenging. I'd translate each question, recall the concept, apply it, and then translate the options to check my answer. It was a lot to handle, and I got frustrated at times. Now, I feel like not trying again since not only it could be a loss of money and I'm unsure whether to start studying again immediately or take a break to let my frustration settle. On one hand, I worry that delaying my studies will cause me to forget the little I know, which could put me at a disadvantage. On the other hand, diving back in without addressing my weaknesses and frustrations might not be the most effective approach. I don't know what to do!!!??? One thing I know for sure is that next time I am studying, I will study with Marilyn every Sunday. I feel like I reallyneed to study with somebody else.

@Marilyn Virgo thank you! I am still waiting on the response for my eligibility. Hopefully before May. What do you think is it enough time? Doing 50 questions a day and studying 6/7 days in the week? Plus attending to your classes on Sunday?
