My WHY for creating Invictus Fitness
This is kind of long, and I apologize, but I sat down to write this WHY statement and it just started to flow. So if you are patient, give it a read... My WHY – The Heart Behind Invictus Fitness Invictus Fitness began as a personal passion—something I never imagined would evolve into my life’s purpose. My journey into health and fitness started in August 2021 when I hired a coach to lose weight. But what I found was something far greater: a deep love for fitness, a thirst for knowledge, and an unshakable desire to help others transform their lives. Recognizing my passion, my coach encouraged me to become a coach myself, seeing in me the empathy, teaching ability, and dedication needed to guide others on their journey. When I first started, I believed my mission was to help former athletes regain their strength and feel like athletes again—because that was my identity. But life had other plans. The people who sought my guidance weren’t former athletes; they were women in their 40s and 50s—women struggling with weight gain, hormone imbalances, fatigue, and a loss of confidence. At first, I resisted. This wasn’t the audience I had envisioned. But then I realized something powerful: they had found me. My niche had chosen me, not the other way around. These women weren’t just looking for a fitness program. They were searching for hope. They had been dismissed by doctors, overwhelmed by contradicting advice, and exhausted by diets that had failed them time and time again. They were battling symptoms of perimenopause and menopause—hot flashes, poor sleep, excess belly fat, and a sense of losing themselves. More than anything, they just wanted to feel seen, heard, and understood. I knew then that this was my calling—to be the person who empowers these women to take back control of their health. To give them the tools, knowledge, and support they need to feel strong, confident, and vibrant again. And I didn’t want financial barriers to stop them from receiving the help they deserved. That’s why I made it my mission to share my knowledge freely, using social media as a platform to educate, inspire, and impact as many women as possible—whether they could afford my coaching or not.
