This is incredible! I’ve always been envious of people who can do this and be so intricate with the details.
Show me your desk!
I’ve been on my beads all weekend and here is the mess I now gotta clean up!

@Linda Sortino hahaha, yeah this is not my normal life lol, I am usually a pretty organized person. But something messy comes out of me when I try to be creative lol

I think part of why I am sooo messy when creating is that I never sit down with a project in mind. I usually have to pull EVERYTHING out in order to see what I have and what I wanna make.

About 15 years ago I started working in the wholesale beading industry. One of the designers the company worked with created this pattern. It was my very first project I ever did. I did a bunch of smaller bead weaving projects throughout the years, but this was the ultimate project. Especially for a newbie. I do not do a lot bead weaving these day because of arthritis in my hands, but I’m pretty proud of this one, flaws and all. You can see the flaws and where it’s not perfectly round. I keep it on my desk where I can constantly look at it.

@Gina Francisco it’s cute!
BAM some easy and satisfying projects
I’m working on a sun catcher (not finished) and finished these beaded spiders over the weekend. I think my next project might be to try and make some beaded wire wrapped webs for my spiders. The twisty sun catcher has some cool Swarovski butterflies that I’ve had for years.

@Linda Sortino they are my first ones so I definitely need some practice lol. The pink one was made with a thinner gauge wire, the black one was with a thicker gauge so that was a learning process in itself.
