Welcome!
I'm so glad you're here! This community is for anyone who wants crochet to feel clearer, calmer, and more confident — whether you’ve never held a hook before or you’ve been crocheting for years and want to improve your skills and understanding. There’s no right pace here and no such thing as being “behind.” Jump in where you are. If you’re comfortable, introduce yourself below: - How long have you been crocheting? (brand new, returning, or experienced) - What do you enjoy making — or hope to make? - What’s one thing you’d love to feel more confident about with crochet? Welcome to DreamStitching! 💛🧶

@Angel Conway that's so cool! I've thought about making flowers and such before, but have never gotten around to it

Happy to announce that our first stitch along is complete! With our dragons done, we're ready to take on a new challenge next week. Perhaps something cozy?

@Angel Conway thank you! I thought so 🥰
Prepping for Next Stitch Along
Get ready! We're making beautiful and cozy cowls. What you'll need to create this piece is about 270 yards of Sport Weight yarn (preferably wool or acrylic, in your favorite colors), a size E (3.5 mm) hook, and a yarn needle. Join Monday during the virtual sit and stitch to have some fun!

@Angel Conway it's like an infinity scarf almost, only it doesn't require wrapping (if that makes sense). Specifically, this is the one we're doing (link is in the classroom)
Basketweave Blanket
And as our first week comes to a close, our first stitch along is complete! Join us next week for the next project.

@Angel Conway it was very stretchy, and it worked up quickly (which is always nice)!
Stitching With Intention
I crochet for many reasons. 🧶Its fun learning and getting new stitches and projects. 🧶Crochet relaxing me and I use it to decompress. 🧶I enjoy making things for people.

I agree, crochet is awesome for decompressing! It's so nice to be able to do something semi-repetitive and actually have something to show for it once you're done

I'm the owner of Dream Stitching, a small Crochet and Yarn business. I've been crochetting since 2013, and want to help others learn as well.
