I'd love to see what tricks you're working on with your dogs! I'm working towards putting together Trinket's Expert Trick Dog Master video. Here's some video I took today. It's always great to make reflections after you're watching back your training videos! What do you like? What don't you like? If there's something you think needs work then do you have an idea of what you can try next time? Here's some of my reflections: What I'd like to improve: I don't like how much body pressure I am using to get him to back up right now, so I'm going to try switching to a heel position next time. For his Basketball trick I'd just like more practice in the training studio. I have only been playing basketball in our living room until today and he's been NAILING it, but he needs more practice in the training studio. What I liked: His ever adorable "Cover Your Eyes" ("Are you gonna hide?") is pretty solid. We hadn't done weave poles in a couple of months so I'm really impressed how quickly he remembered that game. After just a handful of runs through the weaves he was even gaining more confidence doing them than I've seen him have before! Go Trinket!
