New video in the classroom!- 30 day challenge and brain dump!
We’re talking about what it means to build a brand within a brand and doing some reflection. Take an extra 20 minutes this week to explore who you are, what comes naturally to you, what you care about and how you want to show up at work. Really think about what you want to be known for, the clients you connect with best and the experience you want people to have. Identify the strengths, qualities and patterns that set you apart, then use them to shape a personal brand that feels authentic and aligned. You’ll see at the end there are 5 main questions to answer! Post them in the discussion here! 1. What do I want to be known for? 2."I help ___with ___by ___” 3. What are three words that I want my clients to associate with me? 4. What is one part of my client experience that I can improve? 5. Over the next 30 days I will ___.”

I want to be known for being helpful, knowledgeable & safe I help women with “aging” issues by providing them with different treatments options. (Pretty vague? ) Honest, fun & helpful The part I need improvement on is being confident in my verbiage Over the next 30 days I will practice speaking with confidence. (Which means I need to become more confident so I need to read up on conditions & treatments for the skin)

@Ashley Stackhouse I really enjoy micro needling! Because it helps with all those issues. I think that speaking part is when clients ask a question about ingredients that throws me off guard & I gotta search the brain files. lol… but also just being confident in my knowledge In general & expressing it so they know I get it. If that makes sense! Participating is not my strong suit but I’m trying because I really want to be better. 😊 I want to learn!
Did y'all watch my 10 min video?
I want to know what you’re working toward in your career as an esthetician. When someone recommends you to a friend, what do you WANT them to say about you? Are you the acne girl in your town? The skin barrier specialist? The esthetician people go to when they need to relax and feel safe? The one who gets incredible results? Who do you want to be? Drop your answer in the comments!

@Ashley Stackhouse that’s a great question! Let me think about that…
Introductions!
Welcome to ESTI ON THE INSIDE! There is so much out there for solo providers and business owners but what about the estheticians who work for someone else? What if you love being a part of a collaborative team but still want to grow your career, build a loyal clientele and make really good money without having to own a business. You deserve education and mentorship too! I want this to be a place where we can ask questions, share ideas, learn from each other and talk about the stuff nobody really teaches us in school. Let’s start with introductions! Tell me a little about yourself: - What’s your name and where are you located? - Where do you work and how long have you been an esti? - What do you REALLY want to learn or get better at? I want to hear what you guys need and what you want out of this community so we can make it worthwhile! Also, be patient with me while I figure out how to use Skool… LOL! We’re just getting started and I’m so happy you’re here!!

Hi Everyone I’m Meagan I’m born & raised in the Seattle, Wa area. Been here my whole life! I’ve been an esthetician now going on 5 years. Got my master esthetician license through NCEA. I work in Kirkland, Wa area. I’ve worked in the beauty industry for 30 years! Yikes that shows my age! I’m a licensed manicurist as well. My favorite service to do is skinpen microneedling! I really want to dive deeper & become more confident in my knowledge of microneedling it becomes my biggest treatment. When I’m not in the studio I’m usually with my husband,(training to convince him we need a vacay) my dog Sammy & or my granddaughter. My struggle with social media is real & present being (older), seems like a young persons thing. So there’s that. Excited to be here! I’m excited to be here.
