2 Proposals sent ➤ 1 hire = $430
This week I landed a project after sending just two proposals. No mass applying. No copy-paste pitches. Just a simple approach: • A strong first line that speaks directly to the book’s launch challenge • A problem-solving proposal focused on results, not services And there’s a good chance it may continue beyond the initial phase. But here’s the part most people don’t see: Before sending those proposals, I spent 8–10 hours optimizing my Upwork profile. Not applying. Not chasing jobs. Just making sure that when the right client visits my profile, they instantly understand the value I bring. Now, my goal is just to send the right proposals. Still learning. Still improving. But moments like this remind me that quality outreach only works when the profile is well-optimized.
