What I added on top of my VAPI + GHL + n8n stack that changed the top of the funnel
My stack handles everything after the lead comes in. Voice agent picks up. n8n routes the data. GHL manages the follow-up. The gap was always: what happens before the lead comes in? The anonymous visitor who spent 6 minutes on the pricing page and left. The HVAC company that read the case study twice and bounced. They never became a lead. They never triggered an automation. I added a layer that identifies them by name and company in real time, scores their intent 0–100, and fires a GHL-native handoff when they hit the threshold. It doesn’t replace the Voice Agent — it feeds it upstream. The integration is: snippet on the client’s site → visitor ID → intent score → GHL contact + opportunity → existing automation takes over. Average time from visit to first AI contact: 47 seconds. Anyone else building above the funnel? What are you using to capture intent before the form submit?

Just joined AIN — here's what I've built so far with AI automation
Hey AIN! Excited to be here. I'm Liton — I build AI automation systems for service businesses. My focus: turning missed calls and cold website visitors into booked appointments automatically. Current stack: GHL + n8n + AI voice agents Recent result worth sharing: Roofing client → 12 booked calls in Week 1 → $3,800 recovered from leads they were losing to missed calls. System runs 24/7. Zero manual follow-up. Looking forward to learning from builders here and sharing what's working in the field. What's your current AI automation focus? 👇

GHL + n8n + Voice Agents — same stack. Roofing is a strong ICP for this: high-ticket, owner often in the field, and missed calls translate directly to lost estimates. Running a similar setup for a dental clinic — 47 calls handled outside office hours in the first month, ~$1,500 in recovered appointments. Same principle, different vertical. Curious how you’re handling the booking confirmation loop — are you using GHL calendars or a third-party scheduler for the roofing appointments?

Native GHL keeping everything in one workflow makes sense for the roofing owner — fewer moving parts in the field means the system actually runs. For the rebook: Voice Agent fires within 2 hours of the no-show, not next day. Reads out 3 available slots, confirms by keypress. If no answer in 20 minutes: SMS goes out with a direct booking link. The 2-hour window is the lever — the appointment is still fresh, they’re still in ‘I need to deal with this’ mode. We’re recovering around 22% of no-shows with that same-day flow. Your 24h voice follow-up is interesting — next-day timing. Do you find roofing clients respond better next-day vs. same-day? Wondering if the higher-ticket nature makes people more deliberate about rebooking.
How I stack a Voice Agent for local service businesses (dental, HVAC, plumbing):
Layer 1 — VAPI → Phone number connected, 24/7 answering → Prompt tuned to the client’s FAQ, services, pricing → Caller intent detection: booking vs. question vs. complaint Layer 2 — N8N → Webhook fires on call end → Booking intent → GHL contact created or updated → Non-booking → tag + 24h SMS follow-up triggered → Failed call → Slack alert via catch node (3-retry logic) Layer 3 — GHL → Booking confirmation sequence (48h, 24h, 2h reminders) → Pipeline stage updated by call outcome → Dashboard: calls handled, bookings created, revenue attributed Live for a dental clinic. Month 1: 47 calls handled outside office hours. $1,500 in recovered revenue. What stack are you using for your Voice or SMS agents?
