The writers who get script requests understand something important: they know how to communicate the hook and major selling points of their story. When managers request scripts, it’s usually because the writer presented: - A clear concept - A compelling hook - An intriguing angle that made them think, “I can sell this.” Before you send your script into the world, ask yourself: - What makes someone want to make this project? - What makes someone want to watch this story? Managers need to know they can sell the writer and the script. Producers need to see a project they can develop and produce. Studios and streamers need stories that will draw audiences.
