I want to know more about this community
Hi everyone, I just wanted to learn a little bit about everyone on this platform if you could tell me a little about yourself and why you joined this community, what are your goals, where do you see yourself in 5 years, personally I see myself being a successful rabbit breeder for meat, pelt, pets and show rabbits, I also am currently working on creating the perfect 4 beat gait by crossing Kentucky mountain horses with Rocky mountain horses, can't wait to learn more about everyone. My personal goal is to help my community for example last weekend I travelled to London Ontario to get some new stock for my rabbitry as well as pickup new stock for the few rabbitry in the surrounding area if you live in Canada, Ontario and you're looking for new Rex rabbits I travel from time to time and could deliver new stock to your doors for a small fee (gas) plus a little extra for my time!

@Shana Veilleux that is awesome most people don't quite have the chance to learn the farm life I find it very nice that you teach that to people, some people aren't ready for the farm life but would love to learn about it before getting started

EWIM certification
Hey guys!! Just wanted to pop in to say I am currently in Ohio, getting a new certification on my belt and WOW will that ever make me change my lesson/life plans! I’m stoked to be bringing this back to Ontario with you all! Hope you have a nice weekend!! What are you all up to?! :)

Porky time !!
Both our gilts (hope its the correct word) had their litter in the last 3 days ! Here is a couple pics of those little rascals ! Anyone has experience with baby pigs or usefull tips to share ? Ps: everyone is going well, older gang has 9 babies and younger got 8

The most hogs I've had at once was 12 and as far as I'm concerned I won't ever have more than 3 at the same time the feeding was way to expensive for personal consumption, wouldn't recommend having any more than 5 unless it's for meat production for others they eat so much that I think you need cattle to use your extra milk for the protein content, I personally struggled to keep them fat but it was from a lack of knowledge now I know better and could comfortably raise 3-5 pigs and that being said I would sell 2 of them, use 1 for personal consumption and the last 2 would probably be made into sausages for marketing!
