For those who don’t know me, my name is Phillip Heck. I’m originally from California but now call Arkansas home. My journey into business, tech, and marketing started early, and I’d like to share a bit of my story with you: • Age 14: I began designing logos for friends using Photoshop and Illustrator. • Age 15: I helped a friend grow his lawn care business. • Age 16: I started honing my graphic design skills. • Age 18: I began studying for a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. • Age 19: I earned a certificate in Software Engineering. • Age 20: I started working at a local Internet Service Provider. • Age 22: I graduated with my degree in Computer Science and launched Sidekick Creative Company with my partner, Gabby Gonzales. • Age 23: I was promoted to Systems Administrator at the ISP but chose to leave my stable, full-time job to focus entirely on Sidekick Creative. • Age 24: Sidekick Creative grew into a business generating $20,000/month in revenue, all without outside funding. Today, I’m the proud owner and operator of Sidekick Creative Company and the founder of Startup Labs, this online community. My mission is to help businesses overcome their marketing challenges and achieve meaningful growth. I have a deep love for tech, marketing, and business. My background in Computer Science gives me a technical edge, but my true passion lies in helping businesses navigate one of the most challenging aspects of growth: marketing.
