Hey everyone, I’m Marc Romain, excited to be here and connect with like-minded individuals on this real estate journey! Where I’m From: I’m based in the Boston, MA area — proud to call this city home and looking forward to exploring more opportunities both locally and beyond. Experience Level: I’m in the 1–5 deals category — still early in the game but committed to leveling up quickly through consistent action and learning from this community. Favorite Exit Strategy: Right now, I’m really focused on wholesaling — I love the pace, the people, and the opportunity to build capital while sharpening my deal analysis and negotiation skills. That said, I’m also very interested in buy and hold for long-term wealth building. What’s Been Holding Me Back: Honestly, analysis paralysis and trying to be too perfect have been my biggest obstacles. I’ve learned that overthinking can cost you time and momentum, so I’m working on trusting the process and taking more imperfect action. Hey @Marc Romain , you’ve got a solid mindset. Wholesaling’s a beast, but it teaches you fast. And man, I feel you on the overthinking… been there. Why Bad Presidents Create Good Opportunities
Hello Family, I hope everyone had a great week! I know this week was tough for many folks out there, depending on your political, but there’s always a bright side even when we experience negative outcomes. While the president will always have an impact on the direction of our country, they have zero control on your life or my life! Whether you like Trump or hate him, he is not going to save you, and he is not going to destroy your world! America was here before him and is going to be here after him, ready for another president to take his place in four years. So why am I writing this post? Because I’ve seen so many people out there distraught over the results of the election. I really want to remind folks that we must take full responsibility for our lives and our actions. When life challenges us, it’s an opportunity for us to grow. The biggest challenge I faced in my real estate career was on my second flip when I lost $200,000 of my investors capital. It was so hard to make that money back and repay my investors, but I found a way to do it little by little. Despite that challenge, the true blessing was that I learned so much about real estate, I learned an ton about myself, and I learned how to truly make money in business. If I had not suffered that loss, I would not have learned so much so fast. Don’t get me wrong, I would’ve preferred to have a mentor show me the way, but you know what they say “Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times”. It’s a cycle that we can all see play out over the course of history. If you want anything bad enough and you’re willing to work for it, nothing will stop you from getting it! If we face hard times ahead, it will create an opportunity for us to dig deep, to be resilient, to become better so that we can become more than we are today! No matter what the president, the economy, or life throws at us, know that it’s an opportunity for you to become a greater version of yourself. Keep the faith and keep moving forward!

Hey Skool Members, I’m Mauricio, from Dorchester, MA and have been in the real estate industry since January 2013. I became a licensed real estate agent in May 2015, and in January 2019, I transitioned into loan origination, which I quickly fell in love with. My favorite exit strategy is a mix of buying and holding, as well as fix-and-flip, given their potential for long-term and immediate returns. What’s been holding me back is pushing to be consistent in my efforts, but I’m committed to building the business and life I envision. Rob has been a tremendous mentor, genuinely caring not only about professional success but personal growth, and I’m grateful to be part of such a supportive group.
