So Hi there everyone from switzerland πŸ‡¨πŸ‡ I stopped riding motorcycles after a serious accident in 2014. In the region where I lived at the time, motorcycles were often unwelcome, and in my case that hostility turned into something dangerous. A round manhole cover had been deliberately positioned so that its front edge stuck up into the road. I hit it at around 80 km/h while cornering. The bike stood up, I was thrown into a high curb and then into a dirtwall on the opposite side of the street. The motorcycle was totaled, my shoulder was severely shattered, and I was very lucky that my spine was not injured. After that, I never got back on a motorcycleβ€”and for years, I never even considered it. That changed in 2021, when I met my partner. She had always wanted to learn how to ride. For her birthday in May 2024, I bought her a motorcycle so she could start practicing. Helping her learn slowly changed something for me as well. Step by step, I felt the desire to ride again. Long story short: by the end of 2024, I ordered a new adventure bike, which I received in January 2025. I started practicing seriously, focusing on structured training and SMART practice principles. Since then, I’ve ridden roughly 16,000 km in 2025 alone, across more than 10 countriesβ€”on road and off road. Today, I ride with passion, humility, and a strong focus on continuous improvement. Learning to ride better, safer, and more consciously is what motivates meβ€”and that’s exactly why I’m here.
