Excited to be here and connect with everyone in the Mom’s Home Property Management community. I’m fairly new to this community, but I’ve been building and working in real estate for some time. One thing that has really shaped my journey is building multiple income streams before getting deeper into real estate, which helped me create capital, gain experience, and approach the business from a different perspective. I’m here to learn, share what I’ve picked up along the way, and most importantly, connect with like minded people who are building and growing in property management and real estate. Looking forward to learning from everyone here. What’s one thing you’re currently working on or trying to improve in your property management business?

I’m not worried about competition. I’ve learned that competition becomes a distraction when you lose sight of your mission, purpose, and own lane. The moment you stop comparing your journey to someone else’s, you can focus on becoming better than who you were yesterday. That mindset has played a big role in my real-estate journey. Before I got into real estate, I focused on building multiple streams of income and cash flow. Looking back, I’m grateful I took that step early because having multiple sources of cash flow gave me more flexibility and made my real-estate journey much easier to navigate. My advice to anyone working a 9–5 who wants to venture into real estate: don’t feel like you have to jump overnight. Start building your financial foundation and additional cash-flow streams while you're still working. Then you can enter real estate with more flexibility, options, and confidence. You don’t have to race someone else. Master your lane. Build your own path. Stay focused on your mission. When you stop looking sideways, you have a lot more energy to move forward. I work on the people and operations side of growing businesses and run a VA placement agency, helping owners take recurring admin, follow-ups, and day-to-day tasks off their plate. I’ve been getting more interested in property management, so the 100-door goal definitely caught my attention. Looking forward to learning from everyone here and connecting with others in the space. 🙂
