Oh. It's green lightning now. That's reassuring.
How To Live The Good Life 🔓💥
You can watch every tutorial, follow every successful person, and try every technique under the sun, but if your mindset is messed up, none of it will get you where you want to be. Until you fix how you see yourself and your place in the world, you’re just running in circles. The biggest shortcut to success is changing how you think about money, growth, and your own abilities. It's not about if you’re good enough, but why you keep telling yourself you’re not. If you keep believing it’s too hard, that there’s not enough for everyone, or that you’re just not interesting or talented enough, you’re guaranteeing your own failure. Your "failure" is YOUR fault. But your success is yours, too. The truth is, life can be a lot easier when you stop subconsciously telling yourself you can’t have what you want. Success isn’t reserved for a chosen few—it’s for those who decide to claim it, for those who shift their mindset and set themselves up for it. Change how you see yourself and your potential, and watch everything else fall into place. It’s not about more techniques or more effort. It’s about unlocking a version of yourself that already knows what to do 🔓💥

True that, Mayne. ImYou define your success and it's there but you got to get it. You got think like you already got it. You deserve it whether you believe it or not. Behave as if...
If you think I may benefit from your knowledge will you let me know?
I'm all ears. Here to learn and soak it up like a sponge. Clearly many in this group have a better grasp on modern ways of making music and producing than I do. I just recently got into wanting to produce my own music . I've a little setup in a room but I'm spinning my wheels not really knowing what to do next and it's incredibly frustrating. I never wanted to be the producer. Im a musician and an artist however this production thing is how its done these days if yiure a nibidy lije me.Instead of songwriting I'm constantly trial and error. Time is running out for me . Life goes fast and I hate to admit it but I'm pretty much an old man who still likes to jam and create and play on stages and come up with stuff that nobody has heard before that I can listen to. So , I could really use ya'lls help. Don't be afraid to ask questions because I'm learning too. We can all benefit from inquiry. I'll let you in on some things I learned on the way that might benefit you, too. I been the Rockstar you never heard of since before high school and I've been around music , musicians and artists all my life. I'm not perfect or know everything however I'm true to myself and my sound and there's a whole lot to learn from striving for authenticity and walking your own path. I guess it comes down to wanting to know who you are, what you're in to and how you go about doing the thing?

@Rob Buse yeah I hear you. My ignorance of mixing and mastering and what comes after thatin that thing is beyond belief. I'm working on it. I dint beven know if it's possible to master on Ableton or how to get the tracks all together to flip the proverbial switch to mix mode. So I'll stuck around and maybe have an epiphany or two. Thanks for your words. You're absolutely corrext.
LEVEL 1 MEMBERS WILL BE KICKED FROM THIS GROUP 🥾
If you are still on level 1, this means that you have not completed the welcome steps OR you haven't engaged with the community at all (https://tachesteaches.com/welcome) To get from Level 1 to Level 2, you only need 5 likes across any posts or comments you have made. This will be very easy and will likely take less than an 15 minutes if you make a small effort to introduce yourself to the community. Starting tomorrow I will begin to boot anyone from this group if they have been here longer than 3 days and still haven't reached at least level 2. Your faithfully, Management

@Kyle C I think I been doing it wrong...but I like it and that's all that matters, right?
Introduction
My name is Victor, former professional musician (a lot of “life happened”). Multi-instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter. I use Issues/things I need help with: you can set me in a room with a dozen instruments and I’ll write a good 10 new ideas within an afternoon, but the moment I try to record in the DAW I lose all flow. Also, it’s really hard for me to do anything “just for myself”. I could produce something amazing helping someone else, but I have a lot of resistance. Not a lot in my life told me that I was enough, quite the opposite. Most of my previous attempts at music were always with others, and that’s all I felt good enough to do. I’m almost 40 and can barely even find a point to trying, even though in my heart all I want to do is create beautiful things. Frankly, at this point I’m not hopeful that anyone can even really help me, but I guess I’m supposed to introduce myself having joined this group so here I am. We will see what happens.

Hey I'm 48 and still at it. My background is similar. From punk bands and what is this DAW thingy? I can't get anywhere with it either. So, I'm not giving in neither should you....or you can always start a punk band.
