With everything that we see going on in the world right now, it is easy to get distracted. With the United States and Israel teaming together and handling business it could be scary to people especially when countries like North Korea and China and Russia speak out against it. But i have a sweet sweet reminder. “For you will not go out with haste, nor will you go in flight [as was necessary when Israel left Egypt]; for the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭52‬:‭12‬ ‭AMPC Keep extra oil, remember to trust the lord, and do not let the enemy destroy your peace by trying to instill fear into your heart and mind. “Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭23‬:‭4‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The other day me and Alease were taking advantage of some nice weather and working outside. I decided I was going to fix up our flower bed before it got cold again. I had noticed we had some weeds in the flower bed that needed to get out before spring hits and they go crazy. The other day Alease had pruned back our rose bush and also this tree like thing and boy she sent them things running back. Which is necessary for growth. Well I didn’t like this tree thing really because it came up out of nowhere and it seemed invasive. Well as I started to look for the root system I seen a lot of surface roots that I thought surely after all of these i should be able just to pull this thing up as it didn’t seem like very much or to big of a deal. Hear me now, that thing whipped my tail, all of the source roots came up with little to no resistance but once I tried to pull this thing up it would not move, it had deeper roots, I had to move back so much soil to get this main root out. This main root had also started growing under the foundation of our home. You know I remember when I first saw this thing pop up I thought eh I’ll get to it later…. Later never came this thing became huge just in one year. I say this to say this how many times in our lives do we notice things and think they are not to big of a deal or say I’ll handle this later? That thing whatever it may be in your life kill it now, kill it when it starts out small or in the very beginning. That thing is going to try and get under the foundation that you have spent so long working on and try to bust it up, it has no respect of the foundation. Kill it now, stay away from the things that don’t seem to bad right now!!!!!!

When you have a fireplace or wood stove, and you get ready to start a fire you have to choose what wood you use. When starting the fire if you have pine it creates a sap once heated up and it coats the fireplace with a very flammable sappy wax. It will cause your house to burn down if you use it. It also burns to quick, now Hickory burns slow but very hot, it is also it is hard to split. What I am saying is be like the Hickory and be hard to split, when the enemy comes you shouldn’t be dry rotten and easy to destroy and quick to burn up. Be strong!

Isaiah 59:1 Behold the lords hand is not shortened that it can not save neither his ear heavy that he will not hear. That’s a great verse but I feel like many people including myself sometimes get so fixated on one verse and the power of it that we fail to realize the next verse has the answer to most of the problems we see. 2.) But your iniquities have separated between you and your God and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear you. Hear is the answer I have found in verse two, it’s something that is blocking me or holding me down, separating me from him. Notice nothing in these two verses say God hid his face or God left you, it’s because of “us” that these things happen. I pray that you receive revelation from this and it helps you like it did me!
