🎯 Enjoy the Process of Becoming Who You're Meant to Be
It's easy to get so caught up in where we want to be that we forget to appreciate where we are and how far we've come. We tell ourselves we'll be happy when we reach a certain income, build a successful business, get in better shape, overcome a bad habit, or finally feel like we've got our lives together. But what if we're missing something important along the way? The journey towards a meaningful goal can be just as rewarding as achieving the goal itself. Think about it. There's a unique kind of satisfaction in recognizing that you're growing, making progress, and becoming more aligned with the person you want to be. Every time you choose discipline over comfort, take responsibility instead of making excuses, or show up when you don't feel motivated, you're building something bigger than the goal itself. You're building character. You're building confidence. You're building trust in yourself. And that matters. Here at Path to Purpose, the aim isn't simply to help you achieve more. It's to help you live with greater intention, take ownership of your life, and become the person you're capable of being. That doesn't happen overnight. It happens through the small, consistent decisions you make every day. So, a few reminders for the journey: ✅ Celebrate the small wins. Progress is still progress, even when it's not dramatic. ✅ Learn from the setbacks. Not every day will go according to plan, but every challenge is an opportunity to learn and adjust. ✅ Focus on who you're becoming. Don't just chase the outcome. Develop the habits, mindset, and character that will sustain it. ✅ Stop postponing your happiness. You don't have to wait until everything is perfect to appreciate the life you're building. Remember, you can be grateful for where you are while still working towards where you want to be. Your purpose isn't just about reaching a destination. It's about who you become along the way. 🔥 Your turn: What's one goal you're currently working towards, and what's something you've learned or appreciated about the process so far?

One thing I've been working on is trying to embrace community. Recently the DJ classes I was going to fell apart because of some management issues, but I've been driving a revival of them by arranging our own sessions with some of the other students. We have our second one this evening. Hopefully it goes well!

@Justin Napier thanks Justin. The sessions are in person!
Pleasantly Surprised
I joined the RISE Roadmap mostly out of curiosity. I'm someone who has definitely had problems finding clarity about my goals in the past. Understanding what they are, how to move towards them without confusion has been a tricky path, and it seemed like just as I was finding my own way out, Justin approached me with the RISE Roadmap. So at first I was like, "Do I really need this? I know what I want to do." But upon joining, I found that Justin's method was not to tell me what to do. He was essentially encouraging our group of guys that we already knew what we needed to do, we just needed the brotherhood and accountability to get these things done - both independently and also as a group. So I was pleasantly surprised by this. Justin's coaching, for me mainly helped me to not only envision and move towards the man I want to become, but also the man I do not want to become, which isn't something I'd done before in this way. I'd recommend this program to other men, because although we might know what we want to do, having a brotherhood of supporters who help one another get there is so encouraging - and the way in which Justin asks questions of the group helps you fill in any of your own blind spots.
Pleasantly Surprised
Day 4 - My Commitment Statement
If I consistently do video editing for at least 15 minutes, 6 days a week for the next 30 days, my life will look different in that I will - - receive mental relief from the backlog - I will build a content catalogue that supports consistent future uploads without anxiety or confusion  This will have the biggest downstream affect on my life, which is - - Developing my filmmaking skills which will give me the internal mental reward of felt progress - Building an audience which will give me feedback, which will drive me forward and will make me feel like my work is helping people - This in turn should help to overcome feelings of apathy and meaninglessness over time

@Justin Napier thanks man. That's awesome, I remember you telling Dr Scott about this goal! I'd love to play keys too, but I already started guitar and am doing too many things as it is 😅 it will be cool to watch your progress 🎹

@Justin Napier hey, I managed to do 29 days of consistent editing before my trip to Malta. I guess I'll complete day 30 once I return haha
What Will You Be Working On This Week?
What actions are you taking this week to move toward the man you want to become? Say the thing and then execute! But more importantly, BE the person that does the thing. What's that ONE MAIN THING you are working on this week that will move your life forward? FOR ME: I will be doing my 5th and final pre-engagement counselling session this week. I'm exited to move into a new season in my life.🙏

Congrats on the pre-engagement counselling Justin. This week I'm working on finding an embroiderer to produce a shirt that will help me increase brand awareness
⏰️ CHECK-IN TIME, MEN ⏰️
It's been a few days since we completed the RISE Roadmap, and I wanted to check in with all of you. How have things been going since our last session? For those who attended RISE: • How is your Personal Commitment Statement coming along? • Have you been following through on the commitments you made to yourself? • What wins, challenges, or lessons have come up since then? For everyone in the Path to Purpose community: • What positive habits are you currently working on? • What daily actions are helping you move forward? • What is one thing you've done this week that you're proud of? Remember, progress isn't built in a day. It's built through the small actions we consistently take over time. I'd love to hear from every man in this community. Drop a comment below and let us know: 1️⃣ One habit you're building 2️⃣ One win you've had this week 3️⃣ One commitment you're making for the week ahead Let's encourage one another and keep moving forward together. 👊

Wins 1. The 15 minutes minimum goal has been successfully getting me working on my backlog over the past 5 days. 2. I finally did 15 pull-ups without stopping in my first set. Challenges Over the weekend my mind has been filled with anxiety, anger and disappointment about what others might believe about me. A good nap and some prayer has helped me climb out of that pit since. But it's a pit I fall into often.
