Hosting org-level workflows: what's the best option?
I've built an AI deal management system for my VC firm using Jake's folder architecture - claude.md, routing files, context files, skills, live deal records. The AI reads and writes files at every step of the workflow. We use Google Workspace, but Google Shared Drive failed: Claude can read from it but can't write back, which kills the system. I've landed on GitHub, where each team member clones the repo locally, Claude reads and writes freely to the local copy, and changes get pushed back to a shared company-owned record. It works, but before I commit fully, is GitHub the best option for this use case, or are there other cloud-based hosting mechanisms that play better with Claude? Looking for something company-owned, accessible by the whole team, and supporting full read/write for Claude.

Thanks everyone this is really helpful. Unanimous on git, which is reassuring.

@Jordan Shaw Great tip! I asked claude about this and actually went a step further and built it as a JSON hook that fires automatically at session start and end. Pull runs automatically when you open a session, and a push reminder surfaces before you close with a live git status so you can see exactly what's uncommitted.
Struggling to learn Jake’s ICM? 📁
If you’ve been quietly struggling with learning how to build or what to build, you’re not alone. I’ve seen the posts, and I know how frustrating it can feel when things don’t click. I wanted to try to do something about it. I built a custom AI Tutor that has the complete knowledge and teaching style of @Jake Van Clief and @Matthew Creamer’s Foundations courses. Think of Jake as the professor. This agent is your dedicated Teacher’s Assistant who sits with you one-on-one. See the new V2 Foundations Tutor here! https://www.skool.com/cliefnotes/new-v2-foundations-tutor?p=979dbf61 Here’s why it’s different: • It walks you through every concept step by step, exactly as Jake outlines them • You’re not just chatting or watching videos. You’re actually building files and folders together in Claude • It checks your work in real time and won’t let you move forward until you truly understand • It speaks in their voice and follows their exact methodology This is the hands-on practice and patient guidance a lot of us have been missing. How to try it: 1. Grab the repo 2. Follow the README 3. Open the folder in Claude and let the tutor take over I’m very proud of how it turned out and I want this to help as many people as possible. We just crossed 30,000 members! Let’s make sure every single one of us has the support they need to actually master this stuff. If you try it, please drop a comment and let me know: • Did it help you understand a concept that was confusing before? • What worked well? • What could be better? I want your honest feedback so we can keep improving it together. I’d love it if this could turn into a proper community teaching tool we all build and evolve. Link in comments 👇

Great Post! Really useful, I actually built mine around Jake's content as well every video, lesson, and framework ingested into a structured wiki. Now every workstream I spin up references it automatically.
2nd brain
How are you guys creating a 2nd brain with claude? How are you saving the information? I keep hearing aboaut kaparthy or obsidian..im really confused about it.

I actually built mine around Jake's conten: every video, lesson, and framework ingested into a structured wiki. Now every workstream I spin up references it automatically. New project, new folder, same compounding foundation underneath. It's the methodology eating itself in the best way.

You just watched the full 23-minute folder architecture walkthrough. Vote below, then drop your use case in the comments. What are you building this system around?

I've building this around investment work: deal screening, portfolio company support, and research at an Africa-focused advisory firm. The use case that really sold me: instead of re-explaining a company's context every session, the screening folder carries everything. every new new session has the same depth and grows over time. That's the compounding effect I was missing.
