My name is Matt Monahan I am 33 years old I currently live in New England I want to be a carpenter because I have a desire to align my efforts with creative and meaningful work, to learn a tangible skill that can improve my life, the lives of my family and the lives of others. I thrive most in creative spaces through physical work and team collaboration. I want to align myself with other men who share a sense of strong purpose, a desire to lead with integrity and a focus on continual improvement and learning new skills. I feel the best when I channel my energy into work that is physical, tangible, useful and valuable. I wish I had learned these skills earlier in my life but I am blessed to have the clarity and purpose driven focus that fuels me today. I am passionate about continuous learning, evolving my ability to show up as a focused, present and loving Husband and Father. I am passionate about showing my children that they can follow their own intuition and interests even when (especially when) it differs from the popular narrative. I am proud of sense of curiosity and tendency towards self-reflection. These traits have allowed me to explore many things in life and have offered clarity on what truly matters and shown me many aspects of my life and personality that I can greatly improve. As I believe we are all here learning each day, consciously or unconsciously, I find that curiosity and self-reflection are powerful tools for exploration and recalibration. PS- I know this is a long post, hope I didn’t rant too much 😂
