We have our tax rate set, and the box checked for our products purchased using puurk. However we do not see the tax applying to their contracts, how do we charge them tax on products?
Hi Bethany, do you have a sales tax that applies to Services and Packages, or just to Products? If you're selling products and it's not charging a sales tax, reach back out and let's figure it out. If you sell services and packages, it won't traditionally apply sales tax to those.
Dr. Pellegrino! Happy to help. What you would do is first, create a plan, select from the drop down list of your clients. If they're not a client yet, you can select + add new client. Select the proposed services, products or packages, enter any details such as credits or discounts, expiration dates, etc. then select 'Text Link' This will create a link and a pre-formatted message you can send to the client. https://www.loom.com/share/2132465d1dcd44688b95fc4ba4393dbb
@Tory Sullivan Thanks for asking — it’s an important detail. Because Puurk supports a wide range of spas, clinics, and provider workflows, we intentionally kept texting fairly flexible and “lightweight” to start rather than locking everyone into one rigid setup. Right now, you can adjust the text content in two main ways: - Patient-by-patient: customize the wording for a specific patient when needed (helpful for special instructions, tone, timing, etc.). - Offer-by-offer: tailor the message for a specific promotion/offer (helpful when the value prop, eligibility, or call-to-action changes). What we’ve seen work best in practice is having a small set of “ready-to-go” message templates you can copy/paste depending on the scenario — for example: - New patient vs. returning patient - Reminder vs. follow-up - Offer announcement vs. last-chance message - “Book now” vs. “Reply to learn more” If you tell us the most common texting situations you run into, I’m happy to suggest a few starter templates you can use immediately. Longer term, we’re actively evaluating ways to let providers customize texting more deeply (e.g., saved templates, variables like first name/offer name, default messaging per offer type, etc.) while still keeping it simple and compliant for day-to-day use.
