Just did a total rebrand after several feedbacks
Hey guys, I'm a veteran IT consultant who never had to promote himself, so creating my own branding was really hard. But after plenty of feedback from other skoolers, I got to this about page: https://www.skool.com/noobemy-4711/about?ref=1cb206e6e066496e818730d4b7293285 Helping Skool Creators Save 10hrs/week and Optimize their operations with the PAA formula I will help you with: - Planning : Understand and draw your skool workflow - Analysis : Quantify your business with CRM - Automation : Let technology tools work for you What do you guys think? Is it appealing? Do you think the goals are clear and it would make people want to join? Does it need a VSL?

Ok, here are some thoughts: - Bold logo. Good name. I like the combo. - I need to see and know more about you -- add content that lets people get to know + like + trust you. - Maybe include some examples of tasks you can help with that skoolers already have as pain points. - Do I have to be a techie to benefit? Do I have to work hard? Do I have to learn a bunch of stuff? Dispell any objections you can. I hope that helps!

@Paulo Costa Sounds like a plan.
Hey Skool Review Crew — we have a new review request
Since we don't get notifications on new posts, I'm using the "email all members" feature to let you all know about a new review request we received. Take a minute to help a Skooler out. BTW, a nice benefit of giving other people feedback is that you end up reflecting on your own content and spontaneously discovering improvements you can make, too. Here is the post link: https://www.skool.com/skool-review-crew-5787/hi-everyone PS: There is another review request from last week: https://www.skool.com/skool-review-crew-5787/feedback-on-a-freebie-funnel PPSS: Invite other Skoolers to our community — more people means more help for everyone!

Hey Skool Review Crew — we have a new review request

Hey, I’m Mathew 👋I created this community because getting honest, constructive feedback on your community, offers, or ideas isn’t always easy — but it’s essential. My hope is that the Skool Review Crew makes it simple, supportive, and fun. 🆕 ABOUT This is a brand-new space (born Aug 25!) — To keep things simple for now, we have one category to post in. As we grow, we’ll add more (About page, Video, Pricing, etc.). 💡 GIVE AND GET Want feedback? Create a new post and share what you’d like reviewed. And remember to give feedback to others. BTW, asking AI to review your text will help identify grammar and clarity improvements — it's a good first step before asking for a human review. Give feedback? Be honest, constructive, and kind with your delivery. (If you're not sure how to do that, ask AI to improve your writing.) You don't have to be an expert, simply describing how you feel about something can be very useful. BTW, a nice benefit of giving other people feedback is that you end up reflecting on your own content and spontaneously discovering improvements you can make, too. 🔥 WARM UP Answer these 3 questions to break the ice: 1. Who are you and why are you here? 2. Favorite foods or best feedback you ever received? 3. I almost named this community "Skool Feedback Machine" but went with "Skool Review Crew." Good call or not?

@Zakkee Ahmad Hard to pick a favorite but I've eaten more bacon, eggs, and homefries more than any other meal. Speaking of burgers, years ago I discovered how to cook smash burgers and it's my go-to for home-made burgers now (other than bbq of course).

Hi Everyone

Here are some thoughts: - Need to see you on the About page — people buy into the hosts as much as anything else. - Update your personal Skool profile to be descriptive of the value you can provide others. - Add some info on the About page to build credibility. - The long list of bullets can be simplified for consistency by asking AI to edit them. - How are you guaranteeing the guarantee? - What's inside — how will a member experience your training — might be good to describe in a video perhaps. - I would check Skool Discovery to find others providing a similar service who already have a lot of paying members to see what they say on their About pages. Out of curiosity: - How will you make money? - Wordpress is good for making highly customizable websites, but most businesses only need very basic sites which are easier to build and manage with third party platforms (wix, carrd, squarespace, etc.). Are you training on those too or are you 100% Wordpress? If you are 100% Wordpress then you may want to lean into that more.

@Ammad Ashraf Very good. I've been designing websites since the Internet was commercialized in the mid 90s. Used everything from basic html, DotNetNuke, Drupal, Wordpress, Wix, etc. We used to offer website design as a service back in the early days. One thing that's important to offer your members is a proposal format that scopes the work to address client expectations. Best wishes with it.
Feedback on a Freebie Funnel
Hey, I'd like some feedback on a freebie funnel I've recently built. I am aware this is a bit more work than reviewing a page or a VSL, so I'm happy to add another of my freebies if you do this (strategic community onboarding and 3 gamification hacks to improve retention). The best starting point right now, is the video I post below. It involves people getting into an email list and potentially to my community. All of it (as all freebies) is entirely free. But if you want me to entirely remove you from anything, let me know and I'll happily do so! Here's the link mentioned on the video: https://www.professorgame.com/YT-Title-Spreadsheet

Ok here is more feedback: - Make this a more compelling headline — "Want My YouTube Title Spreadsheet?" - Privacy policy text seems weirdly written. - Text on the sheet page in the skool course module seemes a bit wonky — ask AI to freshen it up. - Seemed like too many steps/clicks to get the sheet — received email, clicked, then got a popup pitch (3 Gamificiation Hacks) which was full screen so I had to close it to get to the sheet page, and then click again to get the sheet. Risk losing trust with so many clicks and pitches. - You may want to use a heat tracking system on your landing page to see where there may be friction. And A/B test. (hotjar is a free one). - Side note — I see you use MailChimp — recently acquired by Intuit who is known to keep jacking up their prices once they have you locked in (even though they alread earn billions in profit).

@Rob Alvarez In case it helps to know ... I was with MailChimp from the early days, they were innovators. But then got stagnent but I stuck with them because they offered credits instead of monthly subscription — which saved me a lot of money. Then Intuit came (price gougers and slow to innovate) so we now use Moosend — because they offer credits too. Few platforms offer credits. I also use Kajabi — it's very good as a holistic platform and includes email at the same price or better than dedicated email platforms.
