Tips for practicing?
Hi! Does anyone have any tips on doing drills to get a movement down? For example, how long to spend on a practice session, how many times to practice one movement, how many movements to practice in a session? Any guidance or experience is greatly appreciated.

Outdoor wheels?
Hi there…looking for advice on wheels for outdoor. I am a beginner and have Moxi Lollies with Moxi Gummies…I am skating on ashphalt streets and sidewalks (only because that’s all I have available…no skate rinks near me)…I like that these wheels can ride over cracks, rocks etc but T stops seem difficult. I am able to turn backwards and do a scissor stop, or backwards double toe stop but this is not always an ideal way to stop 🫣. I read that a smaller width outdoor wheel might be easier? Looking for insight…thanks

Switched out the cushions to the red 78As. It’s a HUGE difference. I can actually carve. The stock orange ones were (apparently) too stiff for my weight. I’ll get used to the new cushions and then I’ll try the radar energy 62s 😊

@Isabel Athina Mitzen I’m 130lbs. Right now I’m doing fundamental drills (stops, forwards, backwards, transitions, carving) on asphalt roads and trails. This winter when there’s snow I’ll switch out to the Fame wheels and try to learn rhythm/dance in a space in my house and hopefully i can transfer those moves outdoors next year…I’d love to be able to do some cool rhythm outdoors 🙏.

Here are a few clips from a recent practice session. I received an insta360 for my birthday a few months ago, and It's taken me awhile to actually start using it. I was excited to try the tracking feature while I practiced. One thing I'm learning about recording progress is that I dislike editing videos, and it's probably much better to record short clips at a time, rather than a whole 20 minutes that I then have to review and cut down into smaller sections. But here are a few things I'm working on. starting to practice spins , a little pivot-pivot-back6 combo, the first part of a boomerang, dips. this was my first time recording some of these, and I see so many things to fix! Cheers to progress videos 😃
