I'm going to help you manage your time, here's how:
I spend multiple hours per day talking with healthcare workers about fitness, nutrition, stress, and the industry. One of the most common subjects that comes up is TIME. Time--or not having enough--is a shared issue. There are things we must do, places we must be, people we must care for... and by the end of the day, there seldom seems to be time left for us. It's true. We work in a crazy industry. It is stressful. It is hard. It is often unfair. But the clock does not stop. Nor does your life. You have goals. And I want to help you reach them. To do that, we must develop a better understanding of your time and how you allocate it. I do this by running a Time Audit. I send you a link to a Google Sheet, you fill it out, and we talk about it. All you have to do is comment below by telling me what letter grade you give yourself (A+ -- F) in Time Management. Comment below and let's get the ball rolling!👍

Caffeine… How do you take yours?
I was completely unprepared for work today. I woke up. I had a glass of water. I went to work. No food. No caffeine. Nothing. 1:30 PM rolls around and my stomach and brain are screaming for calories and caffeine. In between surgeries, I sprinted to the cafeteria. I went for a cold cut wrap and a Blue Raspberry Celsius… The BIG can. It had 220mg of caffeine. I basically swallowed the sandwich without chewing and shotgunned the energy drink. To be honest, it made me feel incredible😂 How do you take your caffeine? When do you take it? Comment below⬇️👇

Coffee in the morning after I’ve eaten a few bites of food or sips of my protein shake.
I have a question for you.
How long does it take you to go from just waking up to walking into work for a full shift of work? When thinking about your answer, imagine waking up to the sight of someone with a stopwatch and clipboard saying, “GO!” How long does it take you to get ready? Where are you fast? Where are you slow? What time is for you? What time isn’t? Comment below⬇️ I’m super interested.

Right now, I’m up at 5:45 to walk for 45 minutes. After my workout, I either pack my lunch up or help my kids with something. For me to get dressed and put makeup on, this only takes me 30 minutes.
I think you should address this.
I know the majority of you in this community want to change. Many of you indicated that in the membership question required for admittance. But I want to highlight the difference between wanting to make change and being willing to do the things necessary to make change. To want is to desire. To be willing is to take action. How many of you have gone through the Drop10in30 program in the library? How many of you have tracked protein intake for 30 days straight? How many of you have declared or written down, “I will commit to X (sacrifices/plan) for Y (duration of time) to achieve Z (goal).” ? We have all of the information we need to get our butts into gear. So, let’s go! A great place to start is by taking a Metabolic Assessment (MA). An MA is a survey that will allow you to reflect on your current situation in terms of diet, exercise, stress, and sleep. The results of the MA will quantify your current position and shed light on what and how much work needs done. If this sounds like something that would be helpful, comment “yes” below and I will send you the link.

I am terrible at tracking my protein but I am great at making habits. I have integrated more protein into my routine and making sure I do a 45 minute walk during my lunch break that I am down 16 pounds!

@Michael Martin taking the time to do it. I have some many things that need my attention that this falls down on my list of thing to do!
I’m sorry I’ve been gone… She distracted me🫠
To my community, It’s been quite some time since I’ve posted. But to be honest, I have an excuse that I am DARN proud of… This last weekend, I married my best friend @Cressa Wagner We spent the entire month of May preparing for the big day and all of our hard work paid off. I have unread messages and unfinished business with many of you. I appreciate your patience and will keep chipping away at my catch up work. I have some special plans laid out for the month of June and cannot wait to share them with all of you. And because all of you are part of this wonderful community, I wanted to give you a sneak peek and some unseen wedding content… 🤪 Peep the photo below!!!
