To @Tracey Duncan @Sonal Sachdeva and Sakeeb Saleheen on completing their Treating the Sciatic & 12Cranial Nerves with Reflexology yesterday. I met Tracey 9 years ago when she volunteered for CSTUK which was set up by myself to help the survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire. We have remained firm friends ever since. Tracey has a clinic in Bournemouth called Mother Muthi which is a nod to her South African heritage. Sonal and I are also long standing friends. Sonal contacted me again, 9 years ago, when she asked me if we could do a series of 7 short videos about the blends of EO’s she had put together for each day of the week you were born on. As to Sakeeb, we met almost 4 years ago on Spiros’ Orthopedic Reflexology course in Athens. He is a very busy reflexologist based in Enfield. He not only has private clients but also spends time at dedicated clinics for cancer patients as one example. We had an absolutely lovely day not just learning but also reminiscing. For me it was lovely watching these three wonderful people forge new friendships. Whoop! Whoop! This is @Sharon Banfield who is currently studying for her Clinical Aromatherapy Diploma. Here in the UK, it is a 2 year course and includes various physical therapies. This weekend Sharon added KaHuna Bodywork to her existing therapies which include Experiential Healing Coach, Advanced/Clinical Reflexologist, Reiki Practitioner, Sport, Hot Stone, NLM, MLD and IHM massage. We had a lovely weekend, aided and abetted by @Katie and @Davina Salter who generously gave their time to be bodies for Sharon’s training. It’s always the same, bodies say “that’s been the best massage I’ve ever had.” “I never want any other massage again. “ As to students “this is the best massage to give, it’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.” Well done Sharon, you absolutely nailed it! I knew you would 🥰. As you learnt this weekend, it’s not just transformational for clients, it grants “freedom”, as you said, for the therapist to really bring change on every level to the client.

There were 8 of us and we had a fabulous time comparing what EO's, hydrosols and base products we all have, or go to, for minor injuries, infections, cuts and scrapes and more. We all learnt something new. It was also interesting how we all had the same "go-to" remedies for some specific ailments, like sunburn, and swore by them. It was also an evidentiary session..... aromatherapy in action and bringing to the table what works through experience. Only a few of you here can attend sadly, but maybe I'll take a video and pop it in here. The woods will provide peace and tranquility. I don't attend any huge natural health shows, I much prefer these smaller summer fete's that help raise funds, as in the case below, a local primary school in the next town down from me. I don't go to these type of events looking for business, I attend because I love the sense of community. Yes, I have my LaFuma chair and EO's at the ready and a parasol to keep the sun off the face while I do "Quick Fix" Reflexology. Its promising sunshine too. Bring it on! What do you do because you want to, not because you have to, and any "business" is just a bonus?
