😅 How Many COURSES Are In Your Classroom?
I just watched the latest Skool News video in which Sam Oven shared a principle I've always followed, and applied it to "courses" ... "Less Is More" 🙌 And I 100% agree. When it comes to courses here on Skool, I believe Quality beats Quantity. I currently have 5 courses. My next 3 will be added very soon. And I want 12 as the most I'll ever have. But that's just me 🙋‍♂️ You may have a different idea on the total amount of courses a Skool group should have. So I ask ... How many course are currently in your classroom?

Hello Beautiful Souls! *** 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓 !!! **** One of the most important skills you can learn (in business and in life) is how to quiet the mental overwhelm & get clear on where you’re stuck and what you’re reaching for. This might sound simple, but it’s actually something we learn and practice over time. When you learn to bring clarity to your challenges, you create space for real movement and make it so much easier for others (including Me!) to give you helpful feedback that truly moves the needle. As @Evelyn Weiss had promised before that I will be helping you all in this community. To support you in building this skill, we’ll be practicing together in our Q&A thread. 1. 𝐌𝐲 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 is: I now have over 100 members in my community which is great!. I have a free group and my offer seems to resonate with my target audience. 𝟐. 𝐌𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬:To start monetising my community. 𝟑. 𝐌𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦 𝐢𝐬: I'm unsure what to do next. I have some engagement from a handful of the same members who comment on my posts. But overall, most aren't commenting, no one is posting and hardly anyone is checking out my free starter pack in the Classroom. 𝟒.𝐌𝐲 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 Should I stick with building up my membership with my free group and build more engagement, or should I start monetising now with a freemium approach or free trial?

@Rafi Shaik Thanks Rafi. So should I switch my Facebook ads objective away from complete registration? Would you recommend going for sales and either having a free trial, or have a one time low ticket purchase to access the community?
🏆100 Members! What's the next step?
I've reached my first milestone with my piano group, reaching 100 members! Facebook ads have been the main driver of sign ups, but I've got a few from Skool itself. My group is free to join at the moment, with a free starter pack, but I also have a low ticket offer in the classroom, and I'm currently uploading my full course. Here are my thoughts on how things are going, but I would love some feedback on what I should focus on next ✅ Engagement My members are on the older side, and many aren't commenting on posts, or posting themselves. Also, hardly anyone is actually checking out the starter pack in the Classroom even though it's clear in my Facebook ads and About page that they can access it for free. I've just created an auto DM asking what song they would love to play on the piano. This should hopefully spark a conversation and make them feel more comfortable in the community. Is this a good strategy? I've also created a detailed onboarding video showing them how to post, comment etc I'm also running weekly coffee chats, which should be a great way to build trust with my members. ✅ Monetization Of the 100 or so people who have joined, I've made 2 sales of my full course, even though it's not hosted on Skool yet, but I think these people knew me from before. No one has bought my low ticket offer. But it could be because they don't know how to use Skool or the Classroom. a) Should I switch to a freemium model once my course is uploaded? I'm a little scared that it may bomb and I don't get any takers. I plan on having a monthly Q&A session for paying members, but if I only get 1-2 buyers, it hardly seems worth it! b) Or should I keep growing my free group for a while first? c) Or finally, should I go for a free trial and run Facebook ads for sales? Decisions, decisions... Any advice would be great!

Wow. 200 activities! Right now I get between 10-25. A long way to go! Part of my problem is that I think a lot of my members don't use the app so they probably only check Skool 1-2 times a week on their computer or tablet.
Starting My Skool Soon Need Quick Advice
I’m about to launch my first Skool community and had a few simple questions: 1️⃣ If I don’t need advanced features yet, should I start with the $9 plan or jump to $99? 2️⃣ My audience is small what’s the best way to promote a new community without being spammy? 3️⃣ For those running freemium, how do you decide what stays free and what goes paid? Would love your quick input

@Hil Kane You can but you can't run the ads to your About page. Evelyn has a video on how to do this. https://youtu.be/QdlHTCw9UYQ?si=IV4ap7l3NAWqronU
2 wins - Sales + Membership Growth
😀First win - I've made 2 sales of my full course in the space of 2 weeks. This is definitely because of Skool. I have an older demographic and I think having a community has helped to build trust. 😀Second win - My membership is growing nicely for my free group, mainly down to Facebook ads. I'm getting sign ups for just under £2.50 which is a good sign my offer is resonating (Sales >> Complete Registration). Let's see if this continues though.... So what do I need to work on? 1) Engagement Although I'm getting more members (up to 80 now), not many are engaging at all. There's only a small handful who are commenting. I think I have a lot of 'lurkers' but also as I have an older demographic, many aren't that tech savvy and they just don't understand Skool or how it works. I think some don't know how to post, let alone attach a file to a post! I did am online coffee chat yesterday and only 2 showed up. So my plan is to create a really detailed onboarding video, which I will link to in my Auto DM's when people sign up. I will show people how to use Skool on a computer and phone. Hopefully this will help. 2) Freemium or Free Trial? Of course part of the reason I'm getting a lack of engagement could be lead quality (even though I'm using the 'Sales' objective in Facebook ads.) I'm starting to wonder whether to go for a free trial instead of a free group once I reach around 100 members. Has anyone got any experience of this, particularly if you are in a hobby niche like me?
