And look, I totally get the scepticism. We've all been here before. Cast your mind back to the glory days (actually I still get them) of "we'll get you to number 1 on Google, guaranteed". Usually delivered by a somone off another planet who'd just discovered PageRank and printed some business cards. We all know how that ended. So when Google launched "AI Search" the tsunami hit and the inbox started filling up with people promising to "dominate ChatGPT results" with a framework they apparently invented last Tuesday or worse, a YouTube course put together by someone who only learned about it themselves a week ago. So no wonder why most people filed it straight under yeah, right. But here's the thing. Underneath all the noise, the question is completely legitimate: how do we make sure we show up when AI answers our customers' questions? We've been sitting with that question for the best part of a year. Not as observers โ as practitioners with clients asking us for answers we didn't yet have. So we did what any slightly obsessed team would do. We went deep. Not blog-post deep. Not watched-a-YouTube-video deep. Talking to data scientists, AI search specialists, and engineers who actually build these systems deep. We pulled apart the academic research. We mapped every factor we've been able to find at this early stage that demonstrably influences whether an AI system cites your content and by exactly how much. And then we went looking for a tool that put it all together. We couldn't find one. Some tools gave you an audit and left you with a long to-do list and no way to action it. Others monitored whether AI was citing you but couldn't tell you why it wasn't. A few generated schema markup you'd still have to manually paste into your CMS. Every tool did one thing. Nobody closed the full loop. So inevitably, we built our own. AIView Score audits your website against 55 criteria, automatically applies schema and structural fixes via a single script tag, and tracks whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews are actually citing your site.
