@Simon alejandro Vitriago interesting. i happen to have a complete backend for an online-learning/collaboration platform. (it does have a frontend too, but it's old and needs a redesign) in what stage are you with your development?

@Simon alejandro Vitriago ah, yes, moodle is a good start. i have been working on a learning platform for someone else which was developed completely from scratch. that was rather frustrating because you have to rebuild so many features that other platforms already have. i have not had an opportunity to work with moodle myself, but i heard from others that it is rather opinionated and not very flexible in how to do things. it works well if the platform aligns with your own vision, but it may not otherwise. but i believe that the best way to find out is to just start building an MVP. in the process you'll learn what matters to you and then you still have a chance to switch to a different approach.

@Mudassar Khan i have no idea. i am unfamiliar with that application. did you try searching for the error message and the name of the application to see if anyone else has the same error? a quick guess would suggest that you are running without configuring it, because it says all the values are empty. maybe take a look at that.

this project could be interesting for you: https://gitlab.futo.org/eron/public/-/wikis/FUBS i don't know anything about it. i just heard it mentioned and then i remembered your post. otherwise look for existing embedded systems. and, if you didn't already, get some actual hardware to play around with. ideally something that is driven by Free Software or Open Source, because that ensures that you have full access and the ability to replace the existing system with your own.
